WOW was the words that came out of my 2 year old daughters mouth when we arrived at the room. And our son who is 4 was very happy to be given a big bed for him and his sister. My wife and I was quite happy with the room. It covered our needs; shower, kitchen, fridge (both small but adequat) and most important of all - tv with children channels for a relaxing afternoon/evening.

Other great aspects its that the building has a underground parking. Safe and sound and very refreshing to enter a "cooled" car.

If you are staying here you will absolutely need a car. There are close supermarkets but its a walk and you are totally surrounded by ladyfriends who wants to offer every bystander a happy ending. So this not so ideal if you have kids with you.

The area around the hotel is very industrial with many closed buildings to it so it stands out in both positive/negative way but I consider the hotel as a positive change around the neighborhood for the future. Hopefully more renovation will follow around Vertice hotel.

All in all we are very content. Always room for inputs for a new visit.

Pros
Great room - enough space 2 adults and 2 kids and our luggage
Shower, wc, tv, kitchen, bed, kitchentable and several power plug ins
2 stores parking underground with a garagepory
Very good beds. Slept like a child (without the pillows)
Getafe mall and El Corte Ingles only 4-6min away

Cons
The pillows are too long and difficult get comfortable during the night. I wished they had other kinds of pillows.
No playground for kids. Could have utilized that on the backside.
Not the hotels fault but its surrounded by prostitutes at every corner. I recommend to have a car to avoid offers and hassle.
Staff is not bad but no greetings or a smile when passing by. (Different hotelculture?)
Walls in the hallway could need some warm colors. Playful colors for the kids. Very sterile and cold.

We, a group of 14, spent 2 nights at this 4 star hotel.

The location is perfect if one is with a rented and intend to explore the area south of Madrid like Toledo. The hotel Is 15 minutes ride from "down town" Madrid.
Madrid can be reached from a nearby train station every 20 minutes.
The hotel is very clean ,big rooms, very good WI FI connection friendly staff.
Breakfast poor as the cost is low- 4.5 Euros.

Don't be put off because it is situated on an industrial estate. It's on the outside edge.
We chose a room with limited cooking facilities. This consisted of a twin electric hob, microwave, fridge and sink. A kettle and toaster are available at reception for a €10 refundable deposit.
There is also a communal eating space with a number of microwaves and grills (must have toasting facilities?).
The room was big enough with spacious twin beds, wardrobe with drawers, a shelf to eat you food at, one chair and one stool. Room service was daily. The room and hotel were very clean.
This hotel is situated only a 3 min walk from the railway station where you can travel to your heart's content and leave the car at the hotel (happy days). Parking in Madrid is extortionate, if you can find it.

We stayed in a double studio with basic but adequate cooking facilities. This is a no frills hotel but provides everything needed for a good value base to explore Madrid. Ample free parking and good train link into central Madrid. The station is less than a 5 minute walk, with the metro a c15 minute walk. The hotel is in a large industrial estate with very few amenities in the immediate vicinity (a few cafés and a mini market) but the hotel has a vending machine bssed restaurant where you can purchase drinks (alcoholic and non, coffee etc) and ready made meals which you can cook in the provided microwaves - alternatively you can bring your own food and eat it in the dining area.
The cooking facilities in the room (if you opt for this room type) are basic but adequate to cook a simple supper. However, don't expect a comfortable space to eat it (we had a desk attached to the wall, 1 chair and a stool). The rooms aren't large but do have ample storage.
Everything was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room service daily.
Overall, it is a great option if you are on a budget, with ample free parking, an opportunity to self cater, and good transport links into central Madrid.

Good place for what it is - simple yet modern, not too expansive but everything was clean and tidy. Breakfast was pretty good, and we were very happy that we could request a picnic bag for the morning of check out because we had to leave early before breakfast. All the receptionists also spoke English well. Only bad thing was that the blanket was not warm enough for winter weather.

We were staining in this hotel for a couple nights. When we moved in the room we discovered that linens on one of two beds in the room were not clean. The receptionist on duty said there isn’t any housekeeping staff or manager available and no available room either. We were there with group and our guide was alone in her room and we switched rooms. Other way I had no idea what we can do. Terrible experience with our stay in this place.

Quality rooms and easy going to Madrid south side. The hotel is located in a industrial area but it is really easy to get into.
Me and my wife had a nice experience. The host is really nice and breakfast was very complete.

I booked 5 more nights at the Vertice Roomspace after my original 3 night stay because I liked the Vertice so much. Quiet, well priced, modern, and comfortable and everything I needed for a great stay. After staying in Spain 6 weeks and eating in restaurants, I was ready to do some cooking. Everything I needed was right in the room. Refrigerator, 2 burner stove, microwave, sink, dishes and pots and pans, even the cleaning supplies to wash the dishes. The bed was very comfortable. There was a large desk and chair with a power strip for recharging all of your electronic stuff.
The air-conditioning worked great, but many nights I opened the window for cool fresh air.
The bathroom was efficient. Towels new, large and fluffy. Shower stall had plenty of hot water with a great shower wand. Very clean. Bathroom is small.
Great flat panel TV. Lots of storage space and really the largest hotel room I had in Spain except the two times I splurged on a 4 star hotel.
The front desk was helpful giving me a map of the local area with all of the grocery stores, and ATMs shown.
The neighborhood is the only downside to this hotel. I always felt safe, but there are streetwalkers positioned in many of the roundabouts in the industrial park. Also the industrial park is not well maintained. The park areas only dead weeds and there is a lot of trash piling up. The industrial park appears to hae fallen on hard times as there are empty lots and unfinished buildings.
The Vertice is a 5 minute walk from the Cercanius C3 line (San Cristobal Industrial Station). From this line you can go directly to the two main train stations, Atocha and Chermartin, the center of town, Sol, as well as to the airport which requires one train change to the C1 line. It was about 15 min. to Atocha and Sol, 30 min. to Chermartin and 50 min. to the airport. I really liked the Vertice due to its budget price, comfort and convenience to downtown Madrid.

This is the perfect place to sleep and recharge energy when you go to Madrid to know the city for the first time. Even it is 20 min from the centre of Madrid, it is just two block far from the station, and the most important: if you lost the train, you can take the bus (24 hrs) just 4 blocks from the place. Clean, quiet, and cozy. The people are nice, and can recommend you good places.

A taxi to the hotel should be quite expensive as it is really far , by train you should check on Madrid Metro’s site and Renfe’s Cercanias site , what terminal will you arrive at ?
