Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Avoid! We had no running water for 2 days and staff has not responded to emails or calls with explanation or when it will be corrected. Terrible service and needs to be better cleaned. Looks worn out and dirty. Apartments are not decorated as seen in photos. Do not recommend.

We walked here from the train station (about ten minutes). Location was easy to find and check-in was very easy also. Our apartment was spacious and clean and we appreciated the decor. Simple yet stylish. If you choose to use the washer/dryer, allow quite some time. It takes a few hours. You might even want to air-dry instead. Don't miss out on breakfast downstairs at Scarlett and for dinner, try Oven Mozzarella or Sukaldea Atotxa right around the corner.

Pros: awesome location. Near metro and train station. Clean rooms. Main colours r white so can tell things r clean. Well equipped kitchen with detergent n dishwashing tablet provided too. Staff is very helpful as she came up to guide us on how to use washing machine after I asked. Lockers r provided upon checkout Cons: tiny bathroom and rooms rather dark. Can be improved: to provide tea bags on top of coffee :D

This review is for 60 balconies iconic. So, a surprise for me, after reserving on booking.com, is that this is an apart hotel. Positives - the location is AMAZING and the room (we had an appt for 3 people) was EXCELLENT . Staff were very helpful. Very clean throughout. Bed was super comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. A gorgeous breakfast was delivered every morning. Bread, fruit, yogurts, cereals… Negatives - pool (which had workmen upgrading the roof terrace) was freezing. Naturally, not heated, but attached to hose from mains water. Icy. Personally, not a fan of the frosted glass doors/walls to the toilet. We had a large teenager sleeping on the pull down single bed. Was a bit small. Positives far outweigh the negatives. As long as you don’t have your heart set on swimming, you will not regret staying here.

This was a wonderful apartment, clean and comfortable, with all the essentials. Close to the train station and the metro. Close to lots of cafes and steps away from the Prado, the Reina Sofia and El Retiro Park. The staff were helpful and spoke good English (for is non Spanish speakers this was much appreciated). We were coming back to Madrid for a transit day before flying home and actually cancelled our previously planned accommodations so we could stay here another night!! Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in one of the studio apartments. I was a little concerned about traffic noise as we were on the first floor near a very busy traffic circle. But the room was really well insulated from the noise. It was great to have a washer, dryer, fridge and microwave. We also opted for the continental breakfast service which was delivered to our door at 8:30 am- Delicious and generous. The location can’t be beat- steps from Reina Sofia and close to the Prado.

Great location: 5 minutes walk from Atocha station and 10-15 minutes walk to city centre. Although it is facing busy traffic, the double glazed windows manage to keep the sound to a minimum, though siren sounds from emergency vehicles are still heard throughout. Furnishing is above average and the place is big, tidy, neat and very comfortable. Prompt and clear communications are given on how to get to the premises. Great place to stay in Madrid.

My apartment had three large windows overlooking Calle de Atocha and Paseo del Prado -- what a view! The constant flow of cars, busses and people was mesmerizing, while the sound was quieted by the excellent window glass. The location couldn't be better, with a metro stop outside the door, bus stops nearby, and the Atocha station an easy walk away. The staff was quickly responsive to the one problem I had, and the daily clean was a nice feature. Couldn't recommend more!

I think it is true to say that in every respect this is the best apartment I have ever encountered! The location was ideal - opposite the railway station, surrounded by cafes , 8 minutes walk from the centre of Madrid and most important - very very quiet! We were a family of 3 adults and 2 children and therefore a 3 bedroom apartment (2A) was ideal. There were 2 bathrooms complete with fluffy white towels , a fully equipped kitchen and extremely comfortable bedrooms. The cleanliness of the whole apartment was exceptional. The company was extremely helpful and emails were answered almost immediately.

Check in machine was great, easy and efficient. Flat is very modern and very well equipped with kitchen and washer/dryer. 2 bedroom apartment was suitable for our family of 6. A short walk from the metro and train station makes it conveniently located. A lot of restaurants around the building too.
