The only problem I have is that the bathroom was built out of glass and you were pretty much exposed to anyone that's on the room! They have good beds but they're small! But other that that it was all good!

This hotel has a good location in an upscale neighborhood. There are lots of shopping opportunities (lots of boutique shops within a walking distance, and El Corte Inglese department store across the street). There are also a number of good restaurants within 10 - 15 min walk. We stayed in a family room with a queen size bed, and a...

The hotel, like others of the chain, is really good. It's well equipped, the rooms are generally quite spacious and there are lots if toiletries in the room. The staff is always polite and helpful. The best part it's the breakfast: lots of healthy choices, fresh fruit and smoothies, both continental and English breakfast. Recommend. If you cone by car...

We took a duplex room on the ground floor, in this well-located hotel very near the Plaza de Colon. For us, the most important factor was that they allowed us to bring our Golden Retriever with us (they have no weight restriction). The room was modern, tastefully decorated, and had everything that we -and the dog- needed. The staff were...

Clean and modern hotel in a good location. Breakfast buffet is one of the best for the Continent. Staff are very friendly. Only cafe food in the evening but nice enough should you not want to venture out. What is not to like.

I been just for one night, clean room , good breakfast, don't expect real 4 start hotel. No drinking water in the room. I had problem to rest because in my floor a desperate dog were barking for more than 3 hours. If you looking good service I don't recommend this hotel .

Everything else was perfectly good, from reception, rooms amenities. Fix the plumbing smell in lobby! All else was at or above standards for a business style, boutique hotel. Well located for shopping, and transportation.

Hotel is located in Salamanca, very central and nice part of Madrid. Overall hotel is good, although room needs a bit of a refurbishment, and view to internal yard- not very good. Probably nice for short stays - 2-3 days. Good value for money as we had a 4 person family room and price was adequate. Have stayed in Petit...

Though not situated in the very heart of the town, it is well located with 2 tube stations (2 lines) not further than 500 meters each. A silent area what you will appreciate when visiting the evening Old Town. The rooms are okeyish, price is equivalent for the quality they offer. Very nice personel. Breakfast is slightly expensive comparing to...

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighbourhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
