Whenver i am traveling in europe with family, i look to ibis hotel as my number option due to both pricinf and the clean+reliable product that comes with it.. Ibis Centro is really well situated: a few minutes walk to a couple of metro stations as well as very close to Gran Via and other major sights! We fot a...

The hotel is cute. It's an Ibis, so if you're familiar with the brand you know exactly what you're getting. The staff are sweet and helpful and the rooms are as basic as you can get. We Ibis fans already know all of that. The best part of this hotel is the neighborhood. Malasana is north of the center. One...

Excellent location near Bilbao Metro and only a ten minute walk to the heart of the Puerta del Sol. Near the hotel are pinxto bars and a sidreria with excellent tortilla. The hotel staff were friendly. I would happily stay there again on my next trip to Madrid.

Very nice hotel. Absolutely close to the metro station. Very quiet neighbourhood with the exception of weekends. Saturday night you can enjoy the noise from the street until 3 a.m. Reception is on the first floor that you can reach using an odd freight lift. The staff is always friendly and helpful, we were very much impressed by Ilie/George’s kindness...

Honesty is the least you expect from a hotel when booking a room. This hotel claims to offer air condicioning in every rooms on booking.com and every booking websites, But it doesn' t have air condicioning, it has a central sistem that only heats. I questioned a hotel staff about it, and explained to her that my reservation receipt especifically...

Location not quite as "centro" as you might think, really budget Ibis with everything pared to the absolute bone . Sevice not very good, forget the "we fix everthing in 15mins or your service pledge". I reported the TV remote and the telephone in the room not working on the first day- ignored. I complained to the manager after 3...

Stayed here for two nights when in Madrid for work. This was the second time I had stayed in this hotel. It is well located - close to metro stations and within walking distance of the centre. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. I had a room on the 4th floor and it was clean and comfortable. There's also...

Having stayed in several other Ibis hotels for short European city breaks, we had no hesitation in booking here for a few nights. It seemed convenient for the Metro, Line 1. However at the airport we realised that a large section of Line 1 of the Metro was closed during our stay. This was inconvenient but not the end of...

Great location close to two metros stations and lots of bars and restaurants. We had a large room with a super comfy bed. We slept really well. Shower etc all good. Very nice staff. Twenty four hour service should you need it.

Staying in Malasana

Neighbourhood Profile
Hip bars and galleries, independent theaters and music venues, young people with tattoos and funky hair, narrow winding streets — this is Malasaña. Near the center, Plaza Dos de Mayo is a gathering of friends outside bars, dog owners, artists under craft tents, and creative types with notebooks and sketchpads on the plaza’s benches. It may not be as neat and tidy as many other parts of the city, but this only adds to the Malasaña edge. Shops and bars here range from hippie-crunchy to upscale trendy, and on weekends, the streets are bustling around the clock as the nightlife progresses from dinner to bar to disco to late-night food. On the west side of the neighbourhood is the subdistrict called Conde Duque, named after a large pink fort in its center that has been converted into a cultural center for exhibitions and performances. Prettier yet just as edgy, this intimate corner of Malasaña is home to a young international community.
