We recently stayed for 2 nights at this delightful B&B. The owner, Laura made us feel most welcome, coming out to greet us and promptly making us a pot of tea.
We stayed in the Beamed Room which was large and had a comfortable sleigh bed.
Laura provided a wonderful breakfast selection, each room had their own separate 'buffet' with fruit juices, a selection of fresh fruit and cereals. The cooked breakfasts were excellent especially the Banana & Oat Pancakes. In addition their was a selection of lovely jams made by Laura.
What makes this B&B stand out is Laura's hospitality. I can recommend staying here which is a ideal location for exploring the Suffolk coast and parts of Norfolk.

A really, really lovely B&B run by thoughtful and helpful hosts who seem to have done pretty much everything humanly possible to make a stay at Vicarage Farmhouse as stress free and relaxing as possible.
We stayed in the Garden Room which is less characterful than the beamed room upstairs but has French doors...so every time you make a cuppa you can step out and sit in the garden to drink it. At night you can step out and marvel at the big starry Norfolk sky.
The bed was very comfortable, the complimentary tea/coffee tray generous, the bathroom large and the apologies for hot water taking its time to work it's way through the grade 2 listed building were profuse...the water when it gets through is still lovely and hot.
A definite high point of the visit has to be the breakfast, some of the best bacon we've eaten, and comes (with the sausages) from the farm shop just down the road. Had we been driving straight home we'd have bought some to export over the border to Cambridgeshire. Add to that homemade preserves, local honey, a lovely fruit salad etc etc and you end up with a meal that sets you up for the day. Thankyou Laura and Gordon - we certainly hope to return.

Laura and Gordon have just created and amazing bnb in amazing surroundings with beautiful walks right outside the door. You could not wish to find a cleaner, more idyllic or better thought out place to stay. You are made hugely welcome. Laura and Gordon love living in the area themselves and are great guides. The little touches in the bedroom and bathroom from sweeteners (very helpful), to chocolate biscuits (perfect after for ensuring not later night hunger), to every toiletry you could possibly need (or have forgotten) to even reading glasses is just to special.

So so welcoming and luxurious.

What an incredible find. This B&B is immaculate. Every detail vas been thought of. At 550 years old the house has so much character, yet it has every modern comfort you could expect. The breakfast is delicious with locally sourced eggs, sausages and bacon and even the selection of jams and preserves are home made with fruit from the Vicarage garden. Absolutely loved our stay. Best B&B we've stayed at in a very long time.

Absolutely perfect in every way! Laura has thought of everything you could need whilst away from home. My 92 year father had the downstairs room and he had the best nights sleep for years - need I say more. I stayed in the beamed upstairs room, which was idyllic. The breakfast was beautifully presented and delicious. We will definitely be back, this B & B is truly a gem of a find. Laura and Gordon, it is a credit to you and all your hard work.

What do you want from a B&B? A wonderful comfortable bed and a great breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. Laura provides both and more. We have stayed here twice already, and will be back again. Highly recommended.
