Amanda and Tony Timmer have created a unique blend. In the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, they have established a stylish gourmet pub/restaurant which offers a first rate menu, backed by a wine list which is simply remarkable. If in search of a low cost experience, it's not for you. But, for authentically sublime food, wine, and service, in an elegant yet...

We were staying in the Cotswolds and spotted this pub. It looked nice and we were intrigued by the menu and cost - its pretty prices for a pub with main courses coming in at £30. But it was worth every penny. The food and service were excellent. Would definteily return.

Staying at The Feathered Nest conjures up such delights of jumping into a bed that is like a cloud and you are enveloped in feathers ..... Sadly not ... Had the worst possible synthetic duvet ...the pillows a mixture of man made filling and some feathered ones too should be chucked on a Bon fire .. They smell horrid ......

Whenever we are in the cotswolds we always make sure we come here for food. You have to book in advance and it's an expensive place to eat, however the food is always very tasty, the service is always friendly and the views are beautiful. The pub is in a small village, while you eat your food you can look...

This gastro pub is exceptional and as might be expected constantly busy so book well in advance. The area is charming and in the heart of everything you want to see in the Cotswolds. And one wants to see everything. We stayed for two nights. There are only 4 bedrooms. The accommodation is fine, given the age of the building...

We went along with the family - there were 7 of us in all - and had a pleasant lunch at The Feathered Nest. The decor and ambience were, as always, delightful and the menu attractive. While the starters and main courses were good the star of the show for half our number was the Valrhona chocolate dessert. A show...

My wife and I stayed here in July on a special 2 night package which included dinner and breakfast. It was an amazing experience, both from the point of view of the luxurious accommodation overlooking the rolling Cotswold countryside and the superb quality of the food served by friendly staff in an attractive dining room. The night before we arrived...

We travelled from Bath to visit this gastro pub. The service was attentive, the setting attractive and the food tasty but not as good as some Sunday lunches that we have had at similar pubs in Bath yet 3 times the price. Was also shocked that we were charged over £7.00 for a pint of black currant and soda which is...

A fantastic romantic break from our insomniac one year old! Throughout our stay we were well looked after and couldn't possibly leave hungry. The service, food and room were excellent and the location was breathtaking. Looking forward to returning for another treat very soon!

There are no white table cloths or silver cutlery but the service is superb and the cooking of the highest order. A gastro pub it is not but it is fine dining Cotswold style. What I believe is now called a destination restaurant. A former pub but now enlarged and with a dining room that provides lovely views northwards across...
