We visited for 3 nights in May 22. When we arrived, the person on reception did not know English so we had to wait 15 minutes for the English speaking receptionist to return, no worries we walked to there corner shop to get some pop and returned. We paid an extra €19 per night upgrade for sea view room and was lucky enough to be on the only floor with balconies. The room was massive and room had 2 double beds within. Very clean and modern rooms. Ideal for families. Best view I have ever had in a hotel. Overlooks the beach perfectly. The pool is small but hotel also is and never was more than 3 people in the pool while we was there. Even a slide into the pool if you want to try it. Sun loungers in hotel never got filled. Down by the pool is a gate to the beach to save walking up to the main entrance which I believe people exaggerated the bill. It isn’t that bad. The breakfast didn’t offer beans once which I was told was on the menu but over the 3 days didn’t appear. Fresh pastries everyday which were lovely, always managed to find something. For the money we paid for the room for us both we can’t complain and would return again for the right price. Most guests were Spanish , but this proved no issue for us as was able to order drinks fine at the bar. We went outside of hotel for entertainment as it’s in benidrom and many acts at bars are superb. Good job.

So me and my friends came to Benidorm for a long weekend. On arriving at Hotel Lido, we were all surprised with the steep hill leading upto it. Knowing that we will be climbing that everyday, sometimes a few times a day.
The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly. We had food included in our stay and we ate breakfast once and lunch once as the food selection was very minimal.
We were also surprised that the whole hotel had no balconies, I have been to benidorm a few times and have never not had a balcony at a hotel as this had come as standard, but at Hotel Lido there literally is no balconies on any room in the whole hotel.
Next time we go we will pay that bit extra to be closer to the strip and at a hotel that offers better food choices and balconies.

First time to this hotel which is kept immaculately clean with stunning views towards the old town. We were on the 5th floor, the lift could be busy at times. Staff were friendly. We were half board, food was buffet style. You could always find something to eat. There was complimentary wine and water with yoir evening meal. We had an early flight but the hotel provided us with packed lunch each to take to the airport as the restaurant wasn't open before we were picked up. All in all a great stay and I would definitely go back again!

Booked this hotel for my stag do from 7th June to 10th for 11 of us and I am so glad I did, what a brilliant hotel and a brilliant location, the hill didn't bother us as we used the back steps alot in the day which lend straight to the beach. It's got a lovely pool with a slide which we used every day. We had 3 rooms that all had balcony looking over the pool and beach. The view was amazing, the rooms was really nice, clean and the cleaners came every morning. All the staff was so nice and friendly. The breakfast was good continental breakfast, if you wanted a full English with a pint then there is lots of bars very near for 6 euros, they have a nice bar with terrace. I don't have one bad word to say about this hotel. The only one thing that they could introduce is a kettle and coffee n tea facilities, which we all fancied morning after a messy night out. Definitely go back and definitely recommend.

The hotel is very dated. There’s no balconies. There are no fridges we had to use the bath or tea/coffee making facilities. The tv is small and no English channels. There was a lot of noise in this hotel so barely slept most nights. The walk up to the hotel is a nightmare. This hotel is more aimed for Spanish families

Not bad for a budget hotel but not be returning.
The lifts was a night mare and being right on a hill, you was already out of breath before even getting in and then having to either wait half hour for the lift or walk up endless flights of stairs.
Fab sea views but no balcony as its all windows.
Hate the new none smoking rule. They have us an ashtray to then be told we was not allowed to smoke at the outside area.

Little gem. Friendly and nice staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Clean and tidy. Good effort with the food and variety. Overall it's very likeable. The only negative thing isnt about the actual hotel. If you are overweight, unfit, old, drunk or somehow disabled the slope down to the sea front can be a challenge. There are steps to a very rocky area of sea front. Mobility scooter companies dont supply them to this hotel as coming down the hill could be risky. Apart from the outside geography I actually felt a little sad when we had to leave and would recommend this to anyone if they are fit and have no problem with the hill. There may only be 1 balcony on this building but the hotel could not be positioned any closer to the shore, being on the hill actually means stunning views especially at sunset if you have a sea view room. Cannot fault this hotel
