So just home from 8 days in hotel cabana … first of if you were to go by the reviews you wouldn’t actually go anywhere unless it was 5* and really expensive and even at that people complain!!!! The rooms were clean spacious and we had a balcony that over looked Benidorm.. out dated but for the price we weren’t expecting white marble !! The bathroom was done nice and was modern !! The hotel itself was clean and safe .. it had mostly Spanish old age pensioners that danced every night and my 6 year danced with them .. few Spanish family’s and English family that had young kids and played with my daughter.. the food was 6/10 again for the money we paid we got something all the time didn’t go hungry .. the staff were very nice couldn’t fault the hotel to be honest .. it’s about 5€ in taxi to old town which we loved going to and 5 min walk to the beach and shops and some restaurants.. the only down fall I have to say was coffee and soft drinks the coffee was bad if your a coffee lover but the guys at the bar made a lovely coffee just machine in the restaurant part really bad lads I would 100% come back for the price we paid from Ireland for 8 days ya can’t complain some people always will give out about anything go with majority and you’ll be grand I’ll be back anyway :) thank you

Myself and my friend stayed at cabana for 4 nights in feb 2023. On arrival to the hotel we received a half hearted welcome to be told our room wasn’t ready for check in and to wait at the bar “we will come find you” offfering us no vicinity to hold our cases. After sitting around for over a hour we had received no update,we approached the desk and was handed room cards, the room was clean however basic and unfortunately the balcony was looking over road side where the hotel was experiencing building work which made it very noisy.
The hotel was popular location for Spanish guests and few brits resulting in very little conversation and service, entertainment was aimed towards spainish guests. Hotel attracted older generations of guests.
Room was cleaned each day and new towels provided which was fab! Hotel was dated in decor however clean. Wifi is only free when in reception areas.
All inclusive drinks were local brands but decent choice and good measures. Food at meal times was basic and limited, resulting in eating outside the hotel at most occasions, although waitresses was present there was hardly any interaction. Each meal time was very similar of selection, after staying in previous 3 star hotels I would rate this experience at the hotel at 2 star. For what we experienced and provided I would expect to pay lower.

First thing I'll mention is the choice of either the huge hill or the 50 ish steps to drag your case up when the transfer coach drops you at the bottom.

When we got there we were checked in pretty quickly, we were given a double room on the 10th floor (1008) which had a lovely view. If you were brave enough to go onto the dilapidated, cracked and wobbly balcony. The room is very Very dated but clean (apart from the bathroom) the bathroom had black mould on the ceiling in the shower and when we arrived there was gravel and dirt in the bath? No kettle in the room with no option to rent one and not 1 single English speaking chanel on the TV.

We went all inclusive .... wish we hadn't. The breakfast was a 5 out of 10 at best but the lunch and evening buffets were inedible (for us) pigs trotter, rabbit stew and dog fish every buffet and If you leave any food you get dirty looks off the staff. Drinks were good, large measures and beer on draft and you can get crisps for free but we had to eat out every day.

There's no evening entertainment so pay no attention to the entertainment board in reception and one night we had a KFC and were in the room talking only to get a noise complaint.

Location is great, 15 minute walk from the old town and beach and about €7 in a taxi to the strip.

Pool constantly had bits floating in it and only about 20 loungers for everyone.

Wouldn't return (maybe when I'm 80+) the hotel needs to make significant improvements and drop their rating down to 2 stars.

This hotel seems to cater for its Spanish guest only.the staff are very arrogant, the food was the same most days, the enter meant was for the Spanish guest,no entertainment during the day. I would not let any of my friends book to go to this hotel. I did not feel like the staff cared about my holiday.

We have just spent the weekend here, arrived late Friday, very fast check in and given room 322. Very clean, nice towels, bedding and comfortable bed. Modern tv, hairdryer. Nice pool, plenty of sunbeds which were cleaned morning. The bar was very well stocked and lovely seating area around the pool where you could have drinks in plastic glasses. Cannot comment on food as we did not eat in the restaurant. Would go back

Came here on a girls 4 day holiday after a mix up on the hotel where we should of been previously staying.

Not a bad hotel, the rooms are very basic definitely needs an upgrade. We were staying all inclusive the breakfast wasn't very nice at all. The food in the evening was disgusting we only ate salad as the food was extremely dry. 1 out of 10

The location was out of the way so you need to be prepared to get taxis everywhere you go as it's out of the way.

The staff aren't very friendly

This hotel has a lot of Spanish people staying here and they look at you in such a disgusting way

Definitely wouldn't stay in this hotel again that's for sure.

Arrived just after 1:00pm. Room was ready, so we were able to check in and take luggage to room. We then went straight down to have lunch. Check in was quick and easy. Lifts available, but took a long time some days. Room was of a good size with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. Bathroom was ok, shower was good but difficult to get into as it was over the bath. Very high step up into it. Shower door made it a small area to get in. Hairdryer , shower gel, shampoo, soap and a comb were all available in the bathroom. Room was cleaned every day and clean towels if needed.Tv in room, but no british channels. Food was fine always something you could eat. Did have some very different dishes:pigs trotters!!!. Hotel is approx a 5 min walk to see front where there was a choice of bars and food outlets. Please be aware that you probably will have to walk to the hotel as driver say's he can't get bus there. Loads of bus tour holidays being dropped of and picked up right outside the main entrance while we were there. Driver very rude and unhelpful. Told we would be dropped off by supermarket, but we were dropped off outside Hotel Acapulco, couldn't see supermarket at all. Driver got annoyed because we didn't get off straight away.

Hotel a bit dated, good position in old part of benidorm. Food is buffet service with house wine included. Food was tasteless bland and all was the cheapest quality and look warm. But when we were told how much they have to spend per guest.. chef is a mirarle worker. Staff are all a bit overworked and they need more..but all were politeand very efficient. The young guy at the restaurant reception was always welcoming and smiling and all dining room staff attentive and hard working. For the price paid it was pretty good.Shame same can't be said about some of guests...especially some brits who just seemed to be permanently drunk.

Hi, I was on holiday in July first if all I will say the hotel was very clean and food was ok you would never go hungry hotel was very busy mostly Spanish holiday makers but that was fine no problem there although hotel does seem to cater for the Spanish but again that was ok . I would like to say you get what you pay for but there is one point I would like to make which I think is very very important.Myself and my sister arrived at hotel and was given a room which when we went in looked lovely and clean out shock was when we went out to varanda to see bars had been added on to existing bars which went from floor to ceiling right away I thought this can't be right or allowed for fire reasons, my concern was if which I hope never happens a fire started I can't see how you would exit as corridor to rooms also had bars...I am at home now but would not feel right in not writing this review as I still have grt concerns regarding this. I did mention to reception staff who I must say were very polite and was told rooms all full and then asked if they placed us top floor would you jump !!!! To this I had to find my sense of humour and laugh my reply at least I would have a choice I still can't understand if this complies with standards as all rooms round hotel the same on that floor. Location was NR beach but not for me hill heading to hotel then 50 stairs to climb on roasting heat.value for money but not for me ..Sorry to the staff as they were all polite and smiling.

Came here to stay with my partner for a break. As soon as we arrived at the doors inside we were greeted with rusty scaffolding erected inside of the hotel, the place didn’t smell great either. Then we noticed everyone in the hotel were 60+ years of age. It was like an old people’s home. We were the only English speaking people there apart from the guy at reception. Got checked in and proceeded to use the lifts which you’d struggle to get anymore than the two of us and our bags in, extremely small was like going up inside a double wardrobe. Got to room which was meant to be a double, had been given a twin but that was the least of our worries. Rooms where dark and extremely outdated again a smell. Beds were very poor quality and bed linen would make you itch from the look alone. There was stains on the curtains I won’t mention what it looked like but not good at all. Bathroom wasn’t very clean at all either really outdated shower and toilet weren’t very clean. Was completely shocked so went down to reception to complain was offered a double room had a look at it no better whatsoever. Went down to check out man at desk very unhelpful didn’t want to know or accommodate us no apology just rude attitude in general. Checked out and found somewhere else to stay. This hotel would need levelled to the ground do not stay here!
