We have stayed at this hotel several times with mum and dad, and recently with dad and a very good friend. The hotel has been updated in the last few years and the rooms are very modern, mostly black and white interiors which are in keeping with the outside of the hotel. The staff are very respectful and will accomadate... More

Stayed for a week at the Alameda, returned yesterday. Room located at the back of the hotel, overlooking an alley that leads up to all the tapas restaurants, bars and shops. Room was great, spacious, with great bathroom (no bath), the shower was good, but the room lacked storage space… Staff on reception were friendly and helpful. And the bar/cafe... More

Thanks for sharing! The hotel has a great situation in the Old Town and the area has a lot of life in the evening, also in early autumn, and "Tapas Alley" is just around the corner. We are sorry to hear you did not fancy the breakfast, it is true it may get a bit crowded and we are commited... More

Positives: The staff are friendly and obliging. They were always responsive and had a positive, helpful outlook. My room on the fourth floor was big enough for me with a very generous balcony. It was also at the back so there was virtually no noise disturbance. The bed was comfortable I booked early so the room was reasonably costed. The... More

Thank you for taking time to write about your experience. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Hotel Alameda went through a refurbishment in 2012, with half of the rooms being completely renovated: the rooms overlooking the back street, those overlooking our central patio and on those on the side of the building. The hotel is well located in the middle of the old town in a pedestrian street. From the outside, and in the reception, everything looks modern and new but the rooms are much older than everything else. The room had a very basic equipment but was clean. The breakfast has a limited choice, and is only available until 10:30. This... More

Thanks for sharing. Half of the rooms were refurbished in 2012, and the rest will be so in near future. Our breakfast schedule is very common in hotels in Spain, but you can enjoy a late breakfast at our cafeteria (not included in the meal plan though). Best regards and come back and give our rooms another chance! :-) More

Hotel was okay.what you would expect from a 3*, although the receptionists could do with going on a customer service course. Bar staff were excellent and very friendly as were the waiters in the restaurant. In the hub of Benidorm, lively atmosphere in the street below, but no noise when patio doors were closed.
