Clean and friendly hotel halfway between the marina and the old town. Let down only by one of the serving staff at breakfast. Every single member of staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the lady running breakfast service needs to watch how her colleagues do hospitality and this hotel would get 5 stars all day long. It's 3 stars... More

A very nice hotel near the center on the town, food was ok, prices were ok, staff was nice, the rooms were clean, a pretty good hotel for the money they charged. We had no issues, except for parking, they only have 3-4 places

The location is very convenient, 4 bus stations away from downtown. Hotel is quite small, has a small and very expensive parking inside (16 Euro/day). Rooms are average, include basics. We arrived quite late at night 4 persons and were offered a double bed room and twin bed. The double bed was to every standard actually a single room! The... More

We came here with a last minute deal and we were generally pleased with the hotel. We stayed for 7 nights. Good things (random order, just as they come into my mind): + Amazingly helpful staff: they are smiling all the time, answer any questions, give indications... They helped us very promptly when I signalled that the hair dryer wasn't... More

Room was OK for the price we paid. Transport links to city and the beach are great and easy to get to. Staff helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a suburban part of Valencia and mainly locals frequenting the bars and cafes but we got by with our limited Spanish.

Stayed here for 6 nights while on vacation. The 24h reception had pleasant staff and water/sodas/snacks for sale. The basic breakfast is nice, but was I to come back again I would rather have my breakfast in form of the awesome pinchos they serve at cafe Lizarran(?) in the same neighbourhood. The room was not very large but had a... More

Hotel Villacarlos is the perfect base for a short stay in Valencia. Location approx 1 miles from historic city center (20-30min walk) and 2 miles from the golden sand beaches of Las Arena and Malvarrosa. The nearest metro station 'Amistat' is 15 minutes walk from the hotel and goes direct to Airport in 30 minutes (Line 5). Reception is staffed... More

The hotel is located in a very central location. If you are looking for a typical Spanish breakfast - this is your hotel. A rich breakfast of local meats, ham, chorizo, fresh oranges, fresh pineapple, melon. A real delight. The hotel has an elevator, which is convenient. There bidet and tub in the bathroom. Until the hotel has a Russian... More
