Liked · The staff were friendly and super helpful and the room was clean and modern, there was a big outside terrace area which was great for the dog. Location was excellent about 30 mins walk into the Science museum and Valencia’s key tourist sites.
Disliked · We stayed for only 1 night and our room key card didn’t work on 5 different occasions, fix the magnetic strip or the lock on room 101. Breakfast was quite basic

The hotel is pretty good if you are only there to sleep, as there really aren't any amenities worth staying there for. I found that the air conditioner in the rooms leaves a lot to desire. I tried fiddling with it and could not really get it to work like I like it. For a business traveler the WiFi is not really that great especially during the day, and where your room is might make a difference. It is slow to upload anything, and there isn't a business center. In the cafeteria area there are lots of wall plugs so that you can use your computers there after breakfast is over. The area where the hotel is, is mostly working class residential, so there isn't much to see. There aren't really any good restaurants with 10 to 15 minutes walking distance and the hotel does not have a restaurant, they do have vending Machines, and a free coffee machine available 24/7.

Be aware that the most touristy areas are about 10 to 25 minutes away by cab/Uber. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast is pretty good, typical Spanish breakfast you find in most hotels of this range in Spain. The only thing I though was great is that they had a fresh orange juice machine, although the juice comes out at room temperature, those of us that come from the USA might have to add some ice. By the way, when you go to a any restaurant make sure you specify that you want cold water because if not you will get water at room temperature.

Overall if you are looking for a cheap clean hotel in an AMAZING city, you might want to check this hotel out. This is great if you are the type who gets up early, eats breakfast and goes out to explore. There is no gym, bar, restaurant, pool, or lounge in this hotel. The hotel lacks a business center as well.
If you are looking for any of the amenities I mentioned then look elsewhere, there are many great choices in this beautiful city, otherwise enjoy your stay and enjoy qll that this city has to offer.

Safe travels!!

Stayed 2 nights for a meeting. Clean hotel, friendly staff, firm mattresses, good shower, free tea and coffee (not in room). Located on a very busy roundabout towards the south of the city. Buses nearby to get into centre (no 7) and beach (no 99). More of a backpackers, workers hotel. Not too many families, reception is basic, bar has seen better days (you have to get cold drinks from the fridge and pay at reception). Luckily my room faced the back of hotel away from continual traffic of the 4lane roundabout out the front. Avoided breakfast as looked very school canteen. 100 euro a night, but it was summer in a coastal city.

The room is mich smaller than in pictures and overpriced. They asked me 20 euro for each day for a dog and a cat (a dog I can understand becaude it loses hair, a cat no because dhe had her litter box and she doesn't dirty anything) and the funny thing is that they didn't even clean the room. 20 euro extra and no cleaning.
Absurd policies. No fridge in the room. Horrible part of the city, the most ugly neighbourhood of Valencia. Unpolite staff. Only 1 small elevator that you have to wait for hours every time.
It would be OK if the room price was 30 euro or less. For what we paid is totally not worthy. Avoid it

The worst Hotel I have been in years. The receptionist was unable to check me in for 30 minutes because she could not scan my ID. The room was overpriced a 108 Euros no breakfast included and not comparable with nearby Melia and NH Hotels. It is actually not very near the City of Arts so the name is misleading. I have documented the deficiencies with photos. Towels with holes and washed 400 times., dirty walls, a hole in the bathroom ceiling, a dirty telephone, a second bed made the room so small that there have been only 25 cm between wall and bed. So you have to jump on the bed from the front. Warm water on the sink with no pressure. An awful palace. The noise from the street was heard all night.

Basic but decent room. Friendly reception and convenient parking down below. Free coffee and tea in the reception area. Good Wi-Fi. The location is not very central in the city, about a half an hour walk downtown. We would stay here again.

Went as a large group and liked the hotel. It has a few downfalls - the location is not great particularly if you are at the front of the hotel. The lift is pretty poor so get a room at the back and lower floors. We found the reception to be helpful and very good at getting taxis for us. It's not a fancy hotel but was definitely good for us as we were out seeing the beautiful city. The buses (7 & 99) are pretty frequent. We would return.

As above . Very underwhelmed. Extremely basic , very surprised that BA recommended it. Clean but well worn and in desperate need of an upgrade. Everything you need but not exactly comfortable and welcoming . Still getting over my shock !!

Just returned from a weekend break in Valencia, there was 9 of us all lads on a Golf/Stag weekend. The Hotel itself was very clean and tidy, staff was friendly and helpful.

The only down side to the Hotel was the location, it is on a busy roundabout on the outskirts of the city, which means you will need to get a taxi into town or to the beach both costing approximately €20/€25.

The hotel does have a small bar that is run also by the reception staff so you do have to wait a while for service, however, the bar is well stocked and is a good meeting place before the evening events start or whilst you wait for a taxi.

The beach area is lovely, with miles upon miles of sandy beaches, this is also the best are for the evening with very nice restaurants on the beachfront and bars and nightclubs.

The old town also had many bars and restaurants which catered for all tastes, however this area was a bit hit and miss at times. In the day time it is very nice with a lot of history and many places of interest to visit, of a night it is extremely busy with over priced overrated bars and resturants.

Be prepared for late nights as it doesn't really get going until at least 12:30am, so I would suggest you go out to eat about 9.00/9.30pm and then hit the clubs at around midnight.

There is an amazing nightclub on the beach front next to the Neptune Hotel, it is huge with 4 different area with different music and amazing bars all set on roof tops. It is free to get in but as with all bars in Valencia, be prepared to pay around €8 to €10 a drink with the cheapest beer we found being €6.

Valencia seems to be going through a huge regeneration project with many building site dotted around the city, but there are some amazing buildings and some fantastic looking hotel.

The local clientele mainly seems to be Spanish tourists, not many brits at all, which is obvious when you go into restaurants and bars and all menu's are only in Spanish and all staff don't seem to have much of a grasp for the English language. But that is for us to take our phrase books and not for them to learn English.

If you are looking for a golf course, then avoid the El Saler course, advertised as one of the best in Spain, we found that it was overrated, too expensive at £74.00 a round and the greens are poor, most public courses in the UK have nicer greens than here and that is really saying something.

On the whole, a lovely city, a great hotel, and gorgeous beaches, but be prepared to get taxi's everywhere, very busy streets and traffic that rivals London and take those Spanish phrase books.

Booked two months in advance - full payment with the -
GIMICK - NON REFUNDABLE BOOKING
10 days prior to our holiday cost price for both two rooms dropped down by 45% versus to the full payment done two months ago.
Stupid of me this could have been easily sorted if i did not pay in full two months before - caught in the gimick of NON REFUNDABLE BOOKING hence it was showing like Eur35 saving.

The only explantion i got from the receptionist "it same with flight tickets" but surely two complete different scenarios. We have stayed several times in other Holiday Inn but never experienced such a let down.

Very bad smell of cigarettes in room despite we booked non smoking room

Rooms not well insulated for noise - other tourist returned back from a drinking session and made a hell of a noise - laughing and discussing at 3am.

Breakfast - basic and very poor - "complimentary :-)"

Reception staff helpful
