The hotelroom was very noisy, you could hear your neighbours through the walls very clearly. And because they were doing some 'evening sports' and also 'morning sports', I did not get much sleep.
My bed squeezed a lot and the room was outdated.
Breakfast was okay, bit extensive but all right.

But the price was only 60 euros for one night... So taking this into account it was ok. Only the noise of the neighbours, that really was bad.

SH Florazar is a nice standard hotel with all the comforts you would expect from a hotel of this standard. Where things go down hill are its location. Although it states it is close to the beach what it doesnt say is that you have to cross the M25 to get to the beach!!! There is no foot path or under pass and so you have to either walk on the road or in the undergrowth. No good for young children.

It is also located right next to petrol station and miles from anywhere apart from industrial looking biuldings and so you need a taxi to do anything. There is nothing within walking distance.

Overall I would probably not stay there again only due to its location.

This hotel was not what we expected. It was more like a Motorway Stopover place. The only thing it was close to was a Tesco Supermarket next door. An even that was closed on a Sunday. By carefully crossing at the Motorway roundabout it is possible to get to the beach. An hours all along the beach will bring you to a small village for coffee etc.
The breakfast buffet was OK, nothing special. At night, the dining room did not open until 8.15. And then it was mainly fast food, hamburgers, pizzas , pasta etc. there are no fridges in the rooms. A staff member informed me they are removing fridges from all the rooms. For what reason, she couldn't explain. But that meant you can't even keep a bottle of water cold. We also found the staff on the reception desk were quite rude and unhelpful. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel at all

My daughter,my 13yr old grandson and me stayed at this hotel in October 2012 for a week. The hotel itself was very good,it was really clean and the staff were all polite and tried their best to be helpful. The problem was that if you go for a summer holiday, please be aware of the following,If you don't drive it costs 25 euros each way to get to Valencia,The hotel looks onto a beach but you can't get to it as there are no paths or subways and you would take your life in your hands crossing the motorways,The hotel is next to an outlet type shopping centre which had a Mcdonalds and two cafes. On Sundays and holy days the whole centre was closed so there was nowhere to get any food. Our hotel advertised a snack-bar but there was none, all it served was drinks and the hotel didn't do lunch! We were told to go to the garage next door to buy food!!!The hotel doesn't have a money-changing facility so take euros. There was nothing for my grandson to do as the pool was closed. There was nowhere to sit outside and there are no balconies in this hotel so you feel trapped indoors. This should not be advertised as a holiday hotel as its a business hotel or a stopover for people on tours. We were very disappointed and wouldn't stay there for a holiday again although the hotelwas very nice.

I booked a 7 night stay at the SH Florazer through easy jet hotels for my partner and I. We arrived on 20th September and took a taxi from the airport to the hotel at a cost of approx 25.00 euros (average price from airport to Valencia 12.00-14.00 euros). We checked into the hotel and were very happy with the room as it looked exactly as the picture on the website. However, the hotel location was not suitable for a tourist. The hotel is located at roundabout in an industrial area, please see pictures attached taken from my hotel room. Although we could see the coast it was not possible to reach it safely due to the busy road network and lack of pavement. Immediately I contacted the agent and asked if we could move hotels. The agent had advised that the area was extremely busy due to a furniture fair. I made the decision to cancel the booking for the remaining nights and go to Valencia the next day and find a hotel. A taxi from SH Florazer to old town Valencia was approx 12 euros. I mananged to get a hotel in the centre for approx the same cost and you can read my review of the hotel londres

I can not fault the hotel as it is lovely but the location is no good if you are a tourist.

The hotel itself I would rate above its 3-star category. The decor was immaculate, the rooms large and airy, and everywhere was thoroughly clean. Despite being beside an industrial park and motorway, the hotel was very quiet, with beautifully kept gardens. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was prepared and presented as if from a top notch restaurant.
The only 2 drawbacks were the location and the fact we couldn't speak Spanish. The hotel has lovely views of the beach 500 metres away, but getting there is somewhat dangerous. You have to go over a motorway flyover (with no footpath) and then across a motorway. We didn't bother. There are no shops or cafes nearby, so you either need a car or taxi to Valencia. Taxis were prompt and cost 12-15 Euros to the centre, about 20 minutes away. I wouldn't advise driving in the centre of Valencia unless you are really brave, but the taxis were reliable and good.
Everything at the hotel is in english and spanish, except for the evening menu. The waiting staff didn't speak much english so the first night I ended up with fish soup and I hate fish. My fault really, I should have learned some spanish before I went.
Overall it was very relaxing and a thoroughly pleasant stay, but don't go expecting a beach holiday!

Our tour spent the night at this hotel. It was terrible! The hotel is very outdated and run down. The carpets in the hallway are terribly stained and threadbare in a lot of places. The beds feel like bricks and the pillow (they give you one) is about 1/2" thick. The bed linen consist of a top sheet and paper-thin bedspread. They offer a blanket in the closet. It looked filthy so we didn't use it.

The shower is the bathroom was cracked and had mold on it. The hotel did not offer shampoo, conditioner or body lotion.

The reception on the tv was poor. The refrigerator in our room did not work. Most of the other tour guest said they did not have a refrigerator.

Our tour had a planned dinner in the restaurant. The servers were actually taking away our salad plates , and then dinner plates, before we were finished eating. I actually had my fork in my hand, still eating, and they took my plate away. The servers were scraping the plates right next to our table. We could not hear the conversation with the others because of the noise they were making.

The servers were extremely rude.

Our tour driver said this was the first and last time they would stay at this hotel.

My Wife and I booked into Hotel Florazar for a 2 night stay whilst visiting Valencia for The Fallas celebrations and my wife’s birthday.
Upon arrival we were very impressed with our stay, paying €60 per night per room. However shortly after booking the disappointment started.
Upon entering the bedroom it smelt of stale smoke, I would say the room hadn’t been used for some time as the window walls were clearly marked with condensation ( Windows not being opened) the ceiling above the bed was also temporary repaired with adhesive tape to secure loose ceiling plaster.
Upon looking out of the window it was clear that the carpark was full with no spare parking bays and several coaches parked.
When venturing down for dinner we asked for the menu to be given a slip of paper with a choice of 2 starters, 2 main course and 2 pudding options.....that was it the entire meal options..no prices and only in Spanish...luckily not a problem to us but clearly to other guests.
Why with a full hotel would this be the only evening meal options.
The following day due to the above we decided to eat out at a local restaurant but beforehand wanted a pre dinner drink at the bar at 8pm only to be told the bar wasn’t open until 9pm.....we were then advised that there was a vending machine for soft drinks. As I noticed the coffee machine was on I requested 2 coffees again to be told the bar wasn’t open until 9pm , despite 2 staff working on reception immediately adjacent and who chatted with each other throughout. I suggest that only one reception staff was needed and maybe employ a bar staff or couldn’t the 2 staff multitask.
Whilst at reception I also enquired about where the swimming pool was....to be told, it’s not open......as can be seen it was 32*C outside.
Upon pool inspection it appeared very able to be used.
Such a shame about the above as this could be a great hotel if management could sort out service standards.
Wouldn’t stay again unfortunately

A very professional and comfortable hotel in a superb location with plenty of beaches, restaurants a small drive away. The nearest beach is 4 minutes drive away, and despite being a beach for the locals it provides a great walk with lots of wildlife along the bushes. It's also next to a very big supermarket and several places to eat.
The restaurant on the ground floor opens at 20:15...a bit late for most UK visitors.
This hotel is only really suited for people with a vehicle, it's pointless booking if you don't have a set of wheels.
My one complaint is they advertise they have a swimming pool but its only open during the summer...which they should really state. We wouldnt have booked had we known, though now we have stayed I will be back.

This is a sad hotel. Everything about it is sad; from the staff to the food to the hotel room itself. So instead of just rambling on about my bad experience I’m just going to list my gripes, in the order that I remembered them:

*Breakfast was bland and lacked variety
*The paint in parts of the room is peeling off
*The bed is springy
*There was the constant sound of drainage water through the night
*So thin were the walls that we could hear the noises of our neighbors, even though they weren’t all that noisy
*The secondary mirror on the bathroom just sort of hangs loosely from the wall and is unusable
*The staff were unfriendly

Now I understand that this hotel is not in a touristy part of Valencia and that it is probably catering more for the surrounding industrial area. But, even if I were an industrial workers would expect a decent hotel. I’m not really sure why Trafalgar would associate with such a hotel.

Finally, I believe that it is about value for money and for this sort of price range, there are much better options. Just one green dot from me, only because they let me leave!
