Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We loved the location of this hotel as it was only 5 mins from railway & metro station. Also short walk to central market and Old Town. Large Supermarket directly opposite was great for provisions. Room clean and well decorated and lucky we were in a quiet part of hotel. Breakfast was superb with a good selection. The breakfast room is small so we went to breakfast early as I can imagine you may struggle to get a table. Reception staff very helpful. Bar next door which also serves food have Happy Hour (which lasts 4 hours) when beer & wine was 0.80€ - amazing! There is a kettle in room however we were only provided with 2 teabags and two paper cups which were not replenished. There is a Nespresso machine in Reception but we didn’t fancy going all that way for a coffee first thing in the morning. Great hotel which I would recommend.

l Hotel is in a great location for local transport 5-10 minutes from the train station and local buses run right past hotel entrance.
You can get the train or bus from the airport to Valencia which is quite cheap but we booked a transfer as we were on a long weekend break and did not want to waste time and private transfer got us to hotel in 10 minutes.
The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helpful and even printed tickets out for us for the Valencia/Barca match.
The wifi was excellent and room was cleaned thoroughly every day shower superb and bathroom a good size bed really comfy.
Enough cupboard space for clothes and hair drier in the room as well as fridge.
Breakfast was also very good with a large selection of hot and cold food which is served on the 1st floor .
Checkout is noon and they do have the facility to mind your cases if you have a late check out and you can also get a selection of drinks from reception area.
The hotel is close to the indoor market and the Historic part of Valencia and is close to lots of bars shops and restaurants and although we were on a main road there was no road noise.
I would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone who is planning to visit Valencia .

This posting is late. We visited March 2020.

This was a really nice hotel. The front desk clerk was very helpful to us. We arrived at the hotel 2 days before the first lockdown in Spain. Our front desk clerk researched online some of the questions we had about the lockdown and he provided us with some very helpful advice.

Across the street is a grocery store. That was very helpful because we needed to stock up on food, water, and wine.

The rooms were very clean. We had two rooms on the same floor as the dining area. The rooms were sectioned off behind a private door so we were not bothered by any pedestrian traffic. The room is not huge but it was a decent size.

Great location, clean, comfortable beds, all you would need for breakfast, very helpful staff, especially Geri who does the breakfast room, and works very hard, thank you. The reception staff are on 24hours and very welcoming, and mindful of all guests being comfortable, asking any noisy guest to be quiet. The walls are thin so sound does travel, but I’m being picky…all in all a good value for money stay

Hotel Mediterraneo is centrally located and is close to bars and restaurants. The rooms are quite small and are adequately furnished and clean, with aircon which was a big plus as the temperature was in the low 40s at this time of year.
Breakfast is adequate with a small amount of hot food, scrambled eggs and hot dogs. There is also a choice of breads, pastries and yogurt.
The staff are very friendly and helpful .

Nice and comfortable rooms, very clean and modern look. Breakfast was correct and good with also hot items, fresh fruit and several choices of bread and garniture. Perfect location in the heart of the historic centre. Would highly recommend this hotel

Best quality of this hotel is its central location, near tourist attractions, bars, shops and restaurants.
It has basic facilities, clean and purposeful rooms, although lifts are small and slow.
Breakfast is adequate. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
On the downside, the hotel does not have any outside space which would be welcome in the heat of the city.
It is a taxi ride from the beach, so a small pool would be a huge advantage.
Overall it was good for a friends stay.

This is a 3 star hotel so it is not luxurious however rooms are functional and comfortable. Bed linens, towels & rooms exceptionally clean. Great location - easy access to Valencia Nord station and old town. The breakfast was really good - small choice of hot food but what was there was well cooked and tasty. The cold buffet and pastries had a good choice. Coffee, juice and water included in breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly.
