Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location could not be better, just behind the cathedral in a pedestrianised street in the old part of the city. I booked the family room for myself and a friend. We were both able to have our own space on two separate floors connected by a wooden open staircase and had our own bathrooms. All very clean and quiet. Bathrooms are small but the showers are powerful. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money.

The hotel is charming, an old building with modern amenities that still fit the historic district vibe of old Valencia. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. They offer to arrange pickup at the airport, which helps because it is hard to find if you get a cabbie that does not know the place.

It was a great location for hanging out in the old city. No restaurant, but plenty of places nearby, including my favorite spot for espresso and baked goods in the morning, El Horno de Los Borrachos (The Oven of the Drunks).

Stopped here for a long weekend with another couple. Clean, comfortable basic room which was ideally located for exploring the rest of the city. Very friendly and informative reception staff, with good English fur those with no Spanish. Our room was a higher floor at the rear and was quiet and fine but friends who were lower and on the front were kept awake by noise of people using the passage way. It is next to a hostel and a bar just round the corner.
Lots of cafes and bars within 2 mins.

Woken up every morning EARLY to the sound of cleaners shouting outside my room, and constantly dragging heavy furniture along the floor repeatedly. Throwing bin bags up against my door. Unsure why this started so early as my room would not be turned until 4pm. Cleaners do not lock the doors after cleaning the room even though I specifically requested this. The walls are paper thin I could hear the people next to me dropping things on the floor, plugging their charger in, screaming at eachother. Absolutely impossible place to relax. Bedlam.

Perfect location. A taxi from the airport cost us €20. 3 minute walk to get to the main square (playa virgen) where there’s a couple of bars but if you carry on walking through it leads to lots more. The hotel is clean and pretty. Our room had an upstairs bedroom too but the stairs were a little risky and I wouldn’t have liked my son to be with us but for us they were fine. Rooms are perfectly suited for what you need and you get shower gel etc included in the bathroom. Reception is available 24h a day and they are very helpful. People have said the hotel is noisy…I didn’t find it a problem at all. Beds are comfy. Only downside is the air con doesn’t quite work to its fullest and struggles to cool the room down as it is a big room. It didn’t hinder our sleep too much though and we soon got over it, just would’ve been a little bit better if it worked 100%.
Definitely worth staying here though purely for the location and cleanliness of the hotel.

The location, in the Old Town, is just perfect, walking distance to everything that I wanted.
24 hour reception with helpful staff who speak great English.
The room is clean, comfortable, and basic; no hairdryer etc. but I knew that and didn't want one! Free soaps, shower gels etc. though.
You can hire a bike through reception, delivered to the hotel for you.
I would most definitely return to this hotel and recommend it 100%.
Fyi only English TV Channels are DMAX and Disney, in case you were coming with children.

Great little hotel in a prime location. Really can’t fault this place. The family room was spread over two floors with a bed, wardrobe and bathroom on one floor and then upstairs a bedroom, large balcony (very safe) , bathroom and large landing area with pull out bunk beds. The stairs are quite steep in the room. Reception were extremely helpful. We’d usually stay in a big 4 star hotel but the best locations are the little hotels in the old town. This is a great choice.

We enjoyed our staying here, huge rooms, good daily service, very helpful and hands on staff, it's way easier to get help if you tal a little bit of spanish. Area is excellent and quiet.

only cons: doors are thin so you can hear from other rooms if they are noisy and they need to add a mini fridge in the rooms it would be perfect during summer.

This hotel is in a great location! It is less than 5 minutes to Plaza de la Virgen and the Valencia Cathedral is very close to that as well. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is friendly. They have someone at the desk 24/7 which is nice in the event that you have a late arrival. Rooms have semi-comfortable beds and have A/C which was a nice feature. For the price and location, you can not go wrong.

In a great location in a small back street. Clean with reasonable room size. No fridge, coffee or tea making, no hair dryer so it is two star but all the same a very very good two star hotel centrally located and great value for money

You can ask the hotel itself to book you a taxi. It was €20 one-way. I found it way more comfortable that way, as the driver picks you up at arrivals
