The room was basic, updated, not big, but it was clean. The location is perfect very near everything . There is an underground parking in the hotel. The staff is not very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Stayed here with work for a few nights and I'm afraid I'd never return. The rooms are really dated and it has the worst bed I've ever slept in and it caused me serious back ache. The safe in the room is very small too. Breakfast was ok, but very limited if you didn't want cake for breakfast. The location...

This hotel has little going for it other than location which is excellent and just off of the main square. Rooms are 3 star at most and the front desk is generally unhelpful and unpleasant. Breakfast is ok and meals we had were good. Choose for location and not for comfort. No English language TV channels.

Visited October, 2016. Parking below hotel was free. Room was very basic. As everyone says, beds are hard as rock. No coffee/tea facilities in room. Frig works. As mentioned, location is terrific and worth suffering hard beds. Did not eat at hotel so I cannot comment. Hotel very close to many restaurants. Wifi was very good!

The staff were very nice and attentive, and it is conveniently situated in the city centre. I arrived with a large suitcase and there was noone to help me up the stairs (nor a little walkway on the side) with the suitcase. Something that I would have expected from a four-star hotel in a popular city. Room was small but...

Excellent location a short walk from the Sassi, restaurants, pharmacies, and markets! Hotel has a fine breakfast, but takes conserving electricity too far: the stairwell is only lit at night and is dangerously dark during the day, the air conditioning is only controlled by the front desk, and only worked part of the time, leaving a hot and stuffy room....

Been here for one night in June 2016. The hotel has a strategic location, 2 min walk to Piazza Vittorio Veneto and within walking distance to the sassi. The room is OK, clean and well furnished. It has a mini fridge, a small desk with chair, a safe, wardrobe, flat screen TV, a comfortable bed and air conditioning. The bathroom...

The location is fantastic. Just a short walk from medieval Matera and also the Sassi. That was very useful as we only booked for two nights underestimating, in my view, how long to spend in Matera. We thought it was an amazing and unique place. In particular I will remember the hotel for the breakfast room which is lovely and...

Very central location, comfortable beds. Excellent choice for a reasonably priced hotel in Matera. Less than 2 minutes walk from the central square. Staff was very helpful and welcoming. Parking is offered in a private car park under the hotel, for free.

As previous reviewers have said, the location of this hotel is spot on. The room was very small but clean, the bathroom was clean and the air conditioning worked (eventually but make sure you close the windows which the cleaning staff leave open - open windows means no a/c). Other than that I struggle to find anything positive. The staff...

“We had room 117, which was a bit noisy as it was right by the stairs and people generally congregated there to chat early in the morning. Perhaps go for something at the end of the corridor?”
