We spent one night at this B and B during our recent visit to Puglia and really enjoyed our stay. Great room, beds, bathroom and a varied and plentiful breakfast. Very easy to find when coming from the train station - Matera Sud - and the owners are very helpful and speak excellent English. .

B&B Donna Eleonora was easy to find when arriving from the railway station Matera Sud (from the station you should take the main road Via Lanera to the right) and from that direction there were no steps to climb as in many other places in Matera. I arrived early in the afternoon and had only asked if I could leave...

The Donna Eleonora Bed & Breakfast is an appartment in a residential building, worn to three accommodation units (very cozy and modern), including a reception room used for breakfast. Intimate and cozy atmosphere, good breakfsat, but it's a shame that there is no prior information that the accommodation is in a residence. Amazing location, above the main street of ancient...

We only stayed in Matera for one in mid June, a pity because it’s a very unusual and interesting place. This comfortable little b and b is situated in an excellent position right next to the main street above the sassi giving immediate access on foot to the historic sassi. Rosanna is very friendly and helpful and after offering us...

I book this B&B due to TA good comments, I sadly don't agree with the comments here. Most ppl said the host is very nice but in fact the host who me met is very cool and not so helpful. We took train from Bari and discover that this hotel is in a residential building. You need to contact the...

This was our first stop when arriving in Italy from Naples. We arrived later than expected and had no luggage. The man that met us at the B&B was very nice about us arriving so late. Since we had been traveling for about 22 hours we over slept the next morning and Rosalie could not have been more accommodating. She...

Very friendly host and very flexible with arrival departure hours. Small, just 3 rooms (which I like). Rooms perfectly equipped. Excellent location just behind the Purgatorio church .Breakfast abundant and good quality. Perfect if you are happy to sleep 50m from the sassi but not in the sassi themselves as the b&b is in a small modern building.

Bed and breakfast run by two sisters. Rooms are located around central chamber were a great breakfast is served. Clean rooms. Comfortable. Good shower. Good price. Wifi. Lots of info available about Matera and the things to find here. To reach the place have to climb some stairs. From outside it seems a normal house. It´s located in a small...

Despite being in the very heart of town, this B&B is modern and quiet. No effort has been spared to make this a place where guests can feel at home and enjoy the wonders of Matera. I would be very happy to return here.

This was a perfect place to stay just off the Sassi.....easy to walk to everything there. We found free parking nearby. The rooms are great, modern and the hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was quite deluxe, continental....great bread and yogurt and fruit and cappuchino if you want. We had a great stay there.
