Great location and lovely rooms. Right off the main square, next to the port, bus stops, bars and restaurants. And the beach! The room is spacious and all very clean. There was great communication from them in advance, helping us reserve restaurants and also in contact the day before around arrival times and advice. They helped to sort valet parking for us, and the porter came to meet us for our luggage. Only thing I’d say is if you’re travelling alone be aware it’s not manned all evening, and our room was in a separate section. But it all felt very safe still.

La Bambagina was great! Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help us check in with when arriving late! Location was perfect. The only issue we encountered was when paying for the parking spot for our rental car. We were not told ahead of time the fee and when we retrieved the car, they would not take a credit card. Luckily, we had cash. Other than that, everything was great. I highly recommend this hotel!

Booked La Bambagina for 4 nights on the Amalfi coast. The room was immaculate and very spacious. Our balcony over looked the Duomo and we loved being right in the centre of everything. The staff were excellent arranging airport transfers and booking our restaurants for us. We would most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it.

The location of this B&B couldn’t get any better. It is located right in the heart of the action. Look out the window and you looking down on to the main Piazza. Service, cleanliness were great, couldnt fault anything!!!

Excellent place. The room look better than on the pics. We were at our honeymoon and they just made so much better for us- the location is just perfect and so convenient. We have to give 5 stars to dear ANNA that was so nice and helpful. When we Arazi even Anna talked to us via emails and after that gave us her WhatsApp number. They did a valle parking to our car (only 20 € a day) and took our luggage to the room that was amazing welcoming! During all of our stay Anna made sure we are having good time and helped us find our way with the activities and was super helpful. So to summarize you must stay there !

My husband and I stayed in a Junior Suite. It looked right over the square and the Duomo so was an amazing location. Our suite was spacious and luxurious and Anna and Giovanni were very friendly and helpful. Could be a bit noisy at night with the windows open but once closed(is air conditioned) it was very quiet. We loved being in the middle of the action. Didn’t forget to call the reception when arriving so they can help carry the luggage up the steps. Would definitely stay again.

This place was extremely modern and clean. It's located on the backside of the town square so it has a nice view of it from the bedroom. It's an easy walk to several shops, restaurants and the water. The staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

I am on a two month trip through Italy and luckily found this small B&B in Amalfi. Look no further. If it is available, book it. Don't hesitate and don't overthink it. Trust me. It is located directly on the piazza in the perfect location and the decor and finishes are perfect. More importantly, the beds and linens are super comfy which is rare to find in Italy. Anna and the other staff were incredibly helpful and Giuseppe, the owner, was a super nice guy and was always down at the bistro he owns in the piazza. .

A beautiful room wonderful service. Bed & sheets were soft and comfy. Room came with slippers and robes and complimentary water. Small refrigerator in the room with some alcohol for an extra charge. Electric water kettle with coffee and tea . We stayed in several hotels during our trip and this was our most comfortable sleep yet.

Frederica was sweet and super helpful.

You step out the door, go down a few steps, and you are right by the church. 3 minute walk to the bus across the street.

We enjoyed our stay at La Bambagina. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was, given that we were on the main square directly across from the basilica, and there were numerous restaurants below. I have hearing like a bat and was able to sleep comfortably once we closed the glass doors to the balconies.

The staff members were very pleasant, and they met us by the taxi stand to guide us to the hotel. They had a porter carry our bags for us.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was nice with both a rain shower and a hand-held spray nozzle.

Regarding breakfast, they give you a voucher that provides a discount for one of the restaurants in the piazza. Even with the voucher, we found other restaurants that were just as good and less expensive. So, take a look around and then choose.

If we ever return to Amalfi, I would be more than happy to stay here again.

NOTE - Electrical Adapters: On this trip, we stayed in four different hotels in different cities. Each one used a combination of two and three-pronged electrical sockets. You will need to bring both types of adapters to ensure you are able to plug in all your electronic devices, especially if you are traveling with more than one person. It was our experience that there were more three-pronged sockets than two-pronged. (See attached photos.)

NOTE - Shoes: Unless you are going to a special function where you need to dress up and wear nice shoes, you only need good, comfortable walking shoes. Ninety per cent of the people were wearing sports shoes, such as ones you would wear for running. This included women in dresses. Save space in your suitcase and leave the fancy shoes at home. Walking on cobblestone streets is difficult enough in sports shoes.
