Located on headland overlooking Amalfi. Easy and attractive to walk to town centre. Full of character with differnt types of rooms . Not a standard corporate nor boutique hotel just charming. Open courtyard a delight. We stayed at end of season with very few other guests. It did not matter though we only ate in restaurant once. Staff helpful. The...

This hotel is perched on the edge of Amalfi with great views and a long history of welcoming guests from all over the world. The room was beautifully decorated with original tiled floor and a painted ceiling. All the staff was very kind and helpful. Highly recommended if you want to stay in an authentic hotel full of history.

I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel. It is spectacularly beautiful and has excellent views. The building is an ancient converted convent (hence the name) and the restoration was beautifully done. The ancient courtyard is a delight even if you do not sit there and read for a while. I also found the food in the hotel...

Simply stunning location, comfort and delicious food. Extremely romantic. Great access to other parts of Amalfi coast via the local ferries. 1.5 hours to Capris is a must. A longer but fabulous journey from Naples is via the boat ferries, no need to book in advance...it's like a taxi rank and you buy tickets at the ports.

Great view. Rooms typically European small but ours was built around huge rocks - lots of steps everywhere including our room. Several steps to get to bathroom and several more to go out onto the balcony- so worth it. Our American hairdryers blew the electric. Short walk to town center and dock. We walked along with several donkeys who were...

This is a perfect place to be in Amafi. My wife and I had a room with a small lovely balcony with a fantastic. view. The most wonderful surprise, once you enter the hotel, is the cloister: a real perfect cloister from the middle ages where you can sit, read and relax. The service is good and the people extremely...

Walkable to town, excellent and very helpful staff. Breakfast was always nice and the serving staff was very nice and was served on the balcony with the view. This hotel has...

We spent three nights in this hotel. Our room was 'quirky' in that it was built into the cliff wall and boasted a short staircase that led up the rockwall to a 'terrace'. The hotel uses the term 'terrace' but this was in reality a small balcony about two metres square with a table and two chairs. The balcony did...

the building and the hotel have lots of history. It is built on an old convent, with a cloisters. The decorations are traditional for the Sorrentine Peninsula - old ceramic tiles on the floor and bathroom walls for example, and all very charming. The view from the terrace is spectacular.

We stayed there as part of a U.S. tour group. The hotel is interesting and pretty in some ways but is average in terms of "creature comforts.". By that i mean lame shower, slow draining sinks and overnight staff. We were left very early in the morning but they didn't have a porter to take our bags downstairs. That was...
