Almafi is a great base for exploring the entire coast that bears its name, and the hotel Terrazza Duomo is a great location in the town. It is also clean, stlylish, and has a friendly staff. We paid a bit more to have a room with a view of the piazza and church and enjoyed watching the town life below. The bathroom and shower were nice and along with the room, had beautiful tiles. The breakfast room had a wonderful view with big glass windows. We would stay here again if in Amalfi.

I loved our room! I booked it for the fabulous view of the duomo - it was wonderful to wake up to that view! But I didn't realize that the room itself would be so awesome! It was a good size, sparkling clean, and beautifully, freshly decorated.
The hotel had a rooftop terrace where breakfast was served, which was a bonus. The staff was also so nice. I highly recommend Terrazza Duomo.
Just know that there are 2 flights of steps to get to the hotel. We carried our luggage up. Not sure if the hotel could have done it - you can ask!

We had a Deluxe Triple Room with Duomo view. The hotel is in a great location. The room itself was on the smaller side. It required suitcases to be packed up and stored under beds in order for us to be able to move around. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
The staff were friendly and willing to help out with regard to moving luggage and providing advice on what to do, what was open on Christmas Day and enjoyable walks.
The breakfast was enjoyable. The traditional items were free with other items costing extra.

We stayed at this hotel from 11-14th March. .
The location is smack in the main town square where the Duomo is. Depending on the room, our small balcony faces the side of an ally that leads to the main bus terminal.
The room is brightly decorated. Its not huge, it has a small fridge and does not have an electric kettle.
To take note there is steep stairs leading up from the main square to get to the hotel entrance . I think the hotel does not has an elevator.
The staff throughout the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful from the reception to the breakfast area. The restaurant over looks into the main square where the Duomo is located.
Due to the location of the property, do not expect it to very quiet throughout night.
Do expect late night revellers, early morning deliveries or road cleaning trucks nevigating right below your room.
Its not unbearably noisy but be warn if you need complete silence while in bed.
There is a decent spread for breakfast with scrambled eggs as it hot dish throughout our stay.
Will definitely stay there again due to its location, friend staff and clean rooms.
Cannot imagine what its like when the tourists season starts. The bus terminal is 5-8mins walk from the main square. There are plenty of restaurants and shops to keep everyone happy.

Wonderfu! Great hotel, the location is in the center of the small and beautiful Amalfi. The staff is friendly, the room was cosy, warm and clean. The terrace on the top floor is fab, food is delicious and the waitress was 👍 I would highly recommend this place

Noisy! I gave it 2 stars because the receptionist and breakfast staff were very nice. The noise goes on all night, including the scraping chairs from restaurant and then the cleanup crew from the square. This place needs to decide if it is a hotel or a restaurant because there are NO facilities for the hotel guests. We went to look the first night as we did have dinner reservations later and were treated horribly. So we cancelled our reservations. The lovely rooftop terrace is not available to hotel guests, (except for breakfast) even though there is a sign to the top for a bar/lounge. So they need to stop advertising that as a feature. The bed was very uncomfortable and I also hit my shin tryng to get around the corner. Trying to get up the steep steps, first from street and then into the reception area miserable if you have any luggage. (the 2 stars goes to staff for helping us although young ladies who really shouldnt be doing that heavy lifting). We told them that the safe did not work, but that problem was never addressed.

We had a lovely time. Michaela allowed us to check in early, the breakfast was perfect (Nutella pancakes!) and the location was just great. Also we booked parking through the hotel which was seamless and very close - thank you so much! We will be back

Book this for location and go for the rooms with balcony and view of cathedral. Worth paying that little bit extra for the view and looking down on the piazza. Lovely, friendly service. Room was light and bright though lacking space and storage. Seeing other hotels in the town and knowing the density of tourists this is a great destination hotel!

Very nice hotel in downtown Amalfi. Great location and right above the general square. The rooms were very clean and beautiful with a great view. Breakfast was also very good and fresh. Lots of stairs to get to hotel check in, so pack light with minimal luggage.

It was a nice room and restaurant. the staff was very friendly and watched our luggage after we checked out. I do recommend to anyone wanting to be near the beach. if possible get a room that faces the basilica, it’s a great view to wake up to. 5/5
