We stayed at the Il Porticciolo for two nights. After a long train ride and bumpy bus to the Amalfi, we were warmly greeted by Carmella. She gave us the room on the bottom floor; highlights were the view, the huge shower head and the kitchenette in our room. Carmella was very accommodating at breakfast. She had excellent knowledge of...

The key ingredient to Porticciolo was the manager,Carmella, as well as her staff. She was very personable and extremely helpful in all ways to make this a memorable stay. Our room was clean and modern and the breakfasts, delicious...and with a view. Note that, as in most of Amalfi, there are a number of steps from the main plaza up...

We got the apartment that had a kitchen included! Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to use it, as we were only there for one night! However, I would certainly reccommend this hotel to anyone who asked!

My husband and I have just arrived back from an amazing stay here. After driving from Sorrento along the beautiful Amalfi coast, we were greeted by the wonderful Carmela. During our stay, we were made to feel like we were at home and found Amalfi stunning. We would absolutely, 100% recommend a stay here!

The host was very helpful via email prior to arriving and extremely helpful the for our entire stay. The accommodation was very bright and airy and very clean. The breakfast was beautiful on the terrace with extensive views over the Amalfi Coast. We could not fault the place. Thank you very much.

We had several questions as this was our first stop on the Amalfi coast and we needed information regarding various hiking possibilities. Both of the staff that were on duty at different times we most helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and very tasteful decorated. We had a...

We enjoyed a fantastic 5 days in Amalfi, much thanks to the excellent stay in Il Proticciolo. This B&B is very tastefully renovated, perfectly located just 3 minutes walk to the centre of Amalfi, but still very quite rooms with a fantastic view over the bay. The owners Carmela and Mena were so friendly and helpful at all times, gave...

What gives this a very low rating is the porter service. A porter took my luggage downstairs without my permission. When I finally caught up with him, he tried to charge me double the price that the owner told me it was supposed to be. She said 5,00 euros per piece of luggage. I only had 1 piece. I had...

We loved our stay in Amalfi. This small village on the coast offers you the possibility to switch between the lovely happy noise of the crowded main roads, and the silent peaceful walk among the lemon trees plantations and the mountain valleys. Our accommodation at il Porticciolo was simply perfect. The room was clean, nicely decorated with local ceramic, an...

Our trip to Italy was wonderful and one of the best parts, was our stay at Il Porticciolo Amalfi. As a family of 4 we were very comfortable and had an excellent stay. Carmela was so welcoming and helpful; with excellent dinner suggestions and tourism options. The hotel is very comfortable and very clean, and is located a short walk,...
