I'm so happy I chose this place!
You get a wonderful bed to sleep in with excellent pillows, a friendly welcome when you arrive, expert advice on hikes and where to eat in Amalfi, and the location! I am traveling by bus and train on a 3-month trip in Italy and I just walked from the bus station to Palazzo Pisani. Easy to find and it's right next door to a market.
The breakfast is remarkable including eggs and you'll easily be filled up to enjoy your day without needing to eat again until dinner but good luck as there are so many wonderful places to eat.
The customer service is remarkable, every staff member took a personal interest in me and my activities. I was truly impressed and I've traveled all over the world in 35 countries.
Also I met some lovely people who were also staying here and enjoyed my time completely, I will definitely be back and if you are considering this B&B just book it, you'll be happy you did.

We stayed at PP for 10 days. The location is great, in the middle of the city of Amalfi. The staff are very friendly and take a personal interest in their guests. The rooms and amenities were stylish and clean. There is an excellent roof top where you can enjoy breakfast in the sun and enjoy a view of the city. We hope to go there again and would recommend anyone to do so.

We had a fantastic time here, Gennaro is a great host, he made us feel very welcome and was extremely helpful with tips and information on what to do in Amalfi. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. I would highly recommend a visit here as soon as possible!

Quite a hike to the rooms when elevator is broken (which is often). Service can be scarce and hard to reach staff. Lower rooms near street are noisy but views at breakfast good if you go outside. Male staff member nice but rest of staff rude. They charge extra for laundry so be careful with that. Overall would not recommend for the price as there are many other options around.

We both loved our stay here. The location was perfect, the rooms were stylish and clean, breakfast was good and there was a gorgeous terrace to relax on with a glass of wine at night or have breakfast in the morning. Lovely staff too who were very helpful, I would stay there again.

My mother (79 yrs), my daughter (17 years) and I stayed at Palazzo Pisano for 3 nights in early July.

We had a lovely stay and the communication before and during our stay from Genarro and Nello was perfect. They arranged porters to meet us at our ferry from Salerno and take our luggage to the hotel. The hotel is a quick and direct walk from the port, thanks to detailed instructions provided. Checking in was seamless and Nello was very amusing and helpful! We had two adjacent rooms which overlooked the main street (a little noisy of an evening if the windows were open but it was super hot while we were there so we needed AC and hence the window was shut). The rooms were large, bathrooms were modern, with lovely traditionally tiled floors.

The breakfast room is shared with the B&b’s sister hotel and features a good range of the usual suspects one finds at Italian hotels, the stand outs being the freshly squeezed OJ and if you are early, the just fried eggs. Coffee was also good.

There is also the option to take a tray of your bfast upstairs to the roof terrace (shared with the other hotels occupying the building; with each one having their own space). Lots of chairs, tables, sunloungers, some under cover area and a fabulous view of the hills surrounding the town, the church and the sea. Really lovely up there early in the morning with the swallows darting and the church bells ringing.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, with plenty of good suggestions for food and beaches to visit, boats to catch.

My mother is elderly with mobility issues and she enjoyed Amalfi as one of the flatter towns we visited with a compact main shopping/eating area that was easy for her to navigate.

We enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay at the b&b again.

This was an incredible find - a very reasonable price for a beautiful, large, well-appointed room in an easy central location in town. A pleasant surprise was the roof terrace with an amazing view of the Duomo, which gives you a whole new perspective on the building! You can lounge there and sunbathe in the summer, and feel like you have your very own corner of Amalfi coast paradise.

Everything was fabulous. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Amalfi. The room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with any queries. The B&B serves a buffet breakfast which is above the standard you normally get at a B&B in Italy. We would definitely go back to B&B Palazzo Pisani when visiting Amalfi again.

We absolutely loved this B&B! We were greeted upon arrival by the generalanager himself. He gave us a map of the town and even helped us with our hiking trail the next day. He showed us to our room, which was beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed a bottle of wine we brought on the rooftop terrace looking out at the sea ok sunset. It was a great location and perfect stay! Breakfast the next morning was the best we've had in Europe! 3 different kinds of eggs!!! We can't say enough about this excellent hotel. Next time we are in Almafi, we won't even bother to look for another place to stay!

Jason D asked a question Apr 2018
how is the parking?
Answer from Gennaro P
Amalfi, Italy70 contributions4 helpful votes
Hi. Due to our location in the historical center in a traffic limited zone, we do not have our own parking. So you can park your car at Luna Rossa public Garage open h24. Only fuel-powered cars not and those above the 2 mt in height are not allowed to park. The fare from April to October (expect August) and in Christmas period is 20,00 Euro per night; in Agoust is 25,00 Euro per night. During the other months the fare is 13,00 euro. Built in a cave, Garage Luna Rossa belongs to the Amalfi Municipality and it is located 200 meters far from the city center, between Atrani and Amalfi after the tunnel. You can pay directly on the spot. You have to ask the daily rate upon the arrival or when you pick up the car for the first time during your stay and must be paid in advance. The daily rate is valid until 12:00 am on the check out date. After 12:00 am the hour rate of 2-4 Euro per hour will be applied. Guests who overnight more than one night can take their own car in every moment. Those who overnight just one night and would like to take the car during their stay cannot benefit of the daily parking rate. During high season period it may take up to 20-30 minutes to access the garage, usually between 10:00 and 15:00. There is not a priority list even if you have already parked your car and you take it for a while and you want to park again. Is not possible to book in advance the parking. All the passengers have to get off at the entrance of the Garage. Only the driver can get in the garage. Garage Luna Rossa is connected to the city center through a pedestrian tunnel that you can take inside the garage coming out in Piazza Municipio. From Piazza Municipio our hotel can be reached on foot in 10 minutes by taking these streets: Corso of the Republics Maritime (seafront promenade) to Piazza Flavio Gioia, then Piazza Duomo and Via Lorenzo d’Amalfi until Via Salita dei Curiali. The distance is about 400 mt. If for any reason you cannot park at Garage Luna Rossa we invite you to contact us for assist you to find a private parking solution. On August, New year and public holidays the private parking must be booked in advance.

"There is a short staircase between the elevator and most of the rooms, though there are a couple of rooms on the same level as the elevator. The elevator is large compared to many B&Bs we have visited in Italy."
