Great family run B&B, couldn't have been any more helpful. Booked us a taxi when we landed late into Naples, so we could go straight to Amalfi, lovely room with small terrace, comfortable, clean and lovely breakfast out on the main sun terrace. Really easy to walk down into town only a 5 min walk! They looked after our bags after we checked out! Really lovely and friendly.

We had an amazing time at Villa Adriana during our time in Amalfi. The location was just perfect for us: a bit away from the very busy and touristic center of Amalfi but still only a few walking minutes away to enjoy the town whenever you want. The hospitality of the staff was great, we were picked up and communication was easy and efficient. We even got some help with restaurants and our travel planning. Breakfast was amazing, especially the varying cakes each day but also everything else. The room was small but everything was there that was needed. Especially the balcony was very nice for sitting outside in the evening. Overall, a great stay and we can recommend this place.

We spent 2 nights at the Villa Adriana in Amalfi as a family of 4. We booked a family room ( Ischia room) with 4 beds. The room was a little bit small, but had a private terrace, and was very clean. The B&B is located up from the main street and they can organize a parking space for you if needed. It was important for us, as we came by car. Amalfi Center and Port are in walking distance. The best in this Hotel is however the extreme friendliness of the staff as well as the breakfast on the roof terrace. The staff really goes the extra mile to help. They waited for us on the mainstreet to conduct us to the parking and to the hotel as we were quite lost. The breakfast is served on the roof terrace with a breakfast buffet and the possibility to order additional items, such as Cappuccino, eggs or cake that will be served on your table. It was a really nice experience. We highly recommend this place.

Great location in Amalfi, just up the hill from the center of town. Had to walk up steps to get there, but no problem. Room was very clean, with a nice terrace. Great breakfast every morning outside on the rooftop. Not cheap, but not bad for the area. Three Italian women ran the place, one of whom was the owner, one who spoke English, and all of whom were great. Note- the town of Amalfi is a great central location to explore the Amalfi Coast (Positano is more expensive and more “touristy”); and if at all possible avoid driving a car here. Cabs from the Naples airport are expensive, but a much better option than a rental car. Although if you have a car, the B&B has a nice parking service for 20€ per day.

This small independent B&B was a real treat and lovely find. We booked 2 nights here and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were super friendly, helpful and really made an effort to help make your experience special. Finding the B&B was a little challenging. If you're driving to Amalfi when you reach the main harbour/marina you need to head to the small roundabout and then head up what looks like a tiny ally. You may need to speak to the traffic marshal or the policeman to let them know you're staying at the villa Adriana and they will let you up the hill. Once you start driving up the hill keep going and pass under the red building archway and keep going up you will reach a small opening and a paper museum on the left hand side and there you will find the garage. For us we called the villa (because we didn't know how to get to the car park) and we had somebody come down to meet us who took then arranged for our cases to be taken up the hill to the villa. Amazing service! The rooms were perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable, I'd definitely recommend a room with a terrace, the views out to the mountain are incredible! The breakfast is in a lovely setting up on the roof terrace, the selection of food was amazing, and the fresh coffee was on pint with the warm milk. Be prepared for some hill walking and getting up some steps to the villa, if you've parked in the car park you wont need to drag your cases up the hill the villa arranges for somebody to do this for you. Again an amazing service! Overall this property did everything they could to make us feel welcome and we would not hesitate to stay here again! Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Amalfi, this is the one. It is ideally located at the top of the main road through the center of Amalfi allowing easy walking of the entire area. The accommodations are impeccable and your breakfast on a rooftop terrace is prepared to your specific request from a number of selections. I cannot say enough about our outstanding hosts, Enza and Adriana. They did everything they could to make our Amalfi experience the best it could be including Enza's ability to communicate well in English. Enza and Adriana, grazie and amore.

We stayed at this b&b for two nights and the rooms have been renovated and everything is new. The rooms are spotless and breakfast is nice and very fresh. The place is a 2 minute walk from the city center. The staff is more than willing to help with anything. The reason for not giving the fifth star are the 75 steps no one tells you about. I would highly recommend this place to sleep while in Amalfi.

Short story: Stay away - extremely rude owner - average B&B Long story: We were on a road trip through Italy stopping in many locations. We are avid travelers and have stayed in all types and rating of accommodation around the world. I have never been treated so rudely as at Villa Adriana. Before I make any hotel reservation I research the hotel on the hotel´s website, tripadvisor reviews and booking.com where I often make reservations. I did the same thing here. On the hotel´s home page they advertise a “private beach” – the reason we booked this hotel over others. We stayed in wonderful hotel in Praino for 2 nights beforehand which had direct access to the sea and were expecting something similar. On asking where the private beach was, reception blunty told me there isn’t one and we can walk to the public beach (a 14 min walk). I complained politely to the owner saying we were disappointed and it is not correct to advertise something that is not the case. The owner was extremely rude and aggressive saying she is not responsible for what is on the English website as they just send the text to be translated. She told us “there no such thing as a private beach in Amalfi” so how could we expect this, and repeated this like a broken record. The owner scolded me and told me I should not refer to the hotel website seeing I made the reservation on booking.com (where there is no mention of a private beach) and especially seeing the hotel website is defunct (which is not the case). I tried to explain that if they have a website it should be correct and I have a right to refer to it but she would not allow me to speak or complete a sentence. When I tried to say something she argued back at the top of her voice until my husband came out of the room and asked her to stop yelling at me. In the end we told her we did not want to stay at the hotel after the way she spoke to me and she told us “well we don´t need your money, so you can leave” This was utterly unacceptable treatment. On my polite complaint, had she instead apologized for the incorrect information and offered us beach towels, umbrella etc to go to the public beach, we would have stayed and lived with the initial disappointment. In addition to the above, see below points. These are things we would normally accept and live with as when one travels you take the good with the bad and put it all down to experience. - Room booked should have had a “garden view”. The room we got was extremely dark with barely any natural light, with one small a high window looking directly into another building and no garden view. - Photos on the internet are totally misleading. - Reception could barely speak English or Italian - They advertised a big solarium – there is not one. Long story short – stay away!!!! There are so many other much nicer places to stay in the same price.

Response from Adriana C, Proprietario at B&B Villa Adriana Amalfi
Responded 24 Jun 2018
Dear Larissa I cannot allow you to denigrate our B&B and our staff and i don’t accept your lies, first you have booked an economy room without terrace....declare that we don’t have a large solarium Where you can have breakfast but it is one of our strong points.... She was very rude and with an aggressive attitude then writes that we told her “we don’t need her money”while we told her that we would not hold any penalty...our customer review are her best answer

We stayed at Villa Adriana for two nights. The region is so spectacular that we decided to depart from our usual choice of ( expensive) boutique hotel and try a B+B. This is well situated in a quiet area close to the activity. The rooms are well equipped ( the shower is really upmarket) and the private terraces are lovely- we had our breakfast on ours. The property has authenticity, charm and represents really excellent value. The staff are just lovely. High recommended for travellers

Well, first of all, you need to take more than 100 steps for being able to get into the hotel. So, if you are not young and/fit, do not think of booking in this hotel. The hotel nicely offers luggage service. So, if you notify them in advance, they take your luggage and transports from city center to the hotel. We were not aware of this service. So my poor husband had to carry our luggage! It would be nice if they could notify us in advance. I think biggest strength of the hotel is lovely breakfast they provide. It was full with fresh food! We really liked it. And the view from terrace is amazing and so relaxing. Room was clean and sufficient for a few days trip.
