A group of 8 of us stayed in the World Center Resort which is in an incredfible location with stunning views of the ocean. The rooms were spacious, the baths were updated and the staff was eager to ensure you enjoyed your stay. When we arrived Antonio, and his son Carlos, won't consider letting us take our luggage up to our rooms, as we were their guests. When we mentioned asking for restaurant recommendations, or needing a ride to the ferry, Antonio was always there to service. The morning breakfast on the terrace, over looking the ocean, was always a joy as Maria, Nicoletta and Theresa insured we were well stocked with breakfast items and hot coffee. In an area known for its higher lodging prices, this place is an incredible bargain for what they have to offer.

We are a family of 6 adults. We stayed here as a base for exploring the Amalfi coast, possibly too long in the same place but we loved it. There is a shuttle service to Amalfi from there we had day trips to Ravello, Positano, Capri, Pompeii, Napoli, Sorrento, Salerno and many beaches. The ferry service from Amalfi to Positano, Sorrento, Capri and Salerno is affordable and enjoyable. Antonio, Saverio, Francesca and Nicoletta helped make our stay as wonderful as possible giving us local advice on places to visit and what to see. Each morning we started off with a super breakfast of fresh fruit, croissants, cakes, coffees and scrumptious omelettes. All but one of the rooms had great views over Amalfi and were comfortable and spotless.

This was a 3 night mother-daughter trip. I settled on this place due to the positive reviews and location not being terribly far by car from the city centre.
We were not disappointed. Airport pick up was arranged through the hotel for a cost but made our transfer to the hotel worry free and the driver Giovanni kindly brought our luggage up flights of stairs for us.
Nicoletta, one of the hosts and our main contact was absolutely lovely. She took the time to answer any questions and accommodated our needs whenever feasible.
Uri was our free shuttle driver to and from Amalfi centre, about a 20 minute drive each way. No request was too much and we consistently felt looked after as though we were family.
We also had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Antonio, the owner.
He too made us feel very welcome.

We had the Europe room. Beautiful, enough space, wonderful views. Bed on the hard side, but comfortable enough. Nice A/C, Francesca cleaned the room very well! Minibar was very useful.

The garden is very beautiful and the sea views are incredible. The jacuzzi is a nice treat after a long day. Loved the cats that liked to spend time in the garden. Tasty breakfast with plenty to offer, including pastries, cereal, fresh fruits, juices, jams etc. You can also borrow a tray and enjoy the breakfast in your own room.

However, what made the experience especially memorable, was the crew. Antonio, Saverio, Nicoletta and Francesca. Grazie mille! Thanks also to ''the man himself'', Giancarlo, for allowing an easy reservation via Whatsapp!

PS. The free rides to Amalfi (Piazza Flavio Gioia) and the great nearby restaurant, Le Bonta del Capo, helped immensely! If you stay here, try Hostaria Acquolina as well, they'll take you there for a small price.

Ciao !

We just spent our holiday at the World one resort and have managed to take back home the warmth in hospitality provided by precisely Nicollet and Yuri.
The omelettes and the bruschetta in the morning were one of the best we ever had. The shuttle service to the amalfi centre was always on point. I had forgotten my watch while departing and Yuri rushed in to send it at the centre. The kindest of people. The rooms are very neat and tidy. Everything on point.

From the moment we were collected from the airport, the staff could not do enough for us to make our stay more enjoyable. The amazing view, the rooms, the lovely gardens, the hot tub was a great for cooling down and very clean and the free shuttle to Amalfi town, everything was perfect. They helped us with everything we wanted to do, like restaurants , beaches, trips and scooter hire. They were just amazing.

Our family stayed 8 nights and enjoyed every moment. The views were phenomenal, especially at sunrise. Nicoletta was always helpful, including making reservations for us. The shuttle to get us places was very much appreciated. The only ask would be to improve the Wifi. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Amalfi!

We have just come back from a 2 night stay in Amalfi.

This place was amazing and we definitely always looked forward to heading back to our room at the end of every day.

Positives include:
1. Cleanliness- rooms were spotless and rooms are brand new
2. View from room- the view from the room is amazing to wake up to, the view from breakfast is even better
3. Breakfast- this was included in the rate and my wife has special dietary requirements (allergies) which were catered for
4. Service- we felt like really welcome guests throughout our stay. Lina and Gianfranco booked tours for us and drove us into amalfi town (10 minute drive) whenever we needed
5. Free parking- this was the last stop for us on a long road trip. There is free parking which was useful and easy to access which was helpful to us.
6. Room facilities- the rooms have everything you could ask for including a nice multi function shower and walk in closet which are all new

Cons
1. Location- Although not an issue for us the location is not walking distance from Amalfi. I did not find this to be an issue as we were driven down to amalfi town every day at times that were convenient to is. On the way back there is a bus that stops very close to the hotel which takes about 10 minutes.

I would happily return to stay here in future.

The best way to get from Naples airport to Amalfi is: 1) train to Salerno and then shuttle / ship to Amalfi 2) shuttle from our bed & breakfast Yours sincerely

Can the shuttle drop us off at the beginning of the Path of the Gods trail and pick us up at the end?
Answer from Bruce S
Calgary, Canada94 contributions60 helpful votes
We just did this yesterday. Antonio will drive you to the start of the path for 20 euros. You will hike to Nocella, take the local bus for 1.60 euros each into Positano, and take the ferry for 8 euros each to Amalfi. Phone Antonio, and he can shuttle you back to the B&B in 20 mins. We decided to be tough and skip Nocella and hike the whole way to Positano, including going down the 2000 stairs from the mountain. We are in pain today. Don't be macho...
