This is a unique hotel in Sorrento. A Hotel with beautiful interior and garden. Very nice room and quite and well cleaning. Great breakfast too. My room is facing the garden, perhaps if you can get facing the sea it will be even better. Very helpful Reception and concierge too

This was our third visit to the hotel. The design elements (ceramics and furniture) continue to serve and maintain their beauty. We were extremely pleased that the hotel added a kettle to the room and some minor room alterations were tastefully done, preserving the overall special look of the room. The breakfast room overlooking the sea and Mt. Vesuvius continue...

This was a lovely hotel overlooking the Neapolitan gulf. It is not near the city center but there is a shuttle bus. However, one day the bus didn't stop at the pick-up place, and I was forced to walk back. The grounds are lovely, and the restaurant was top-notch.

We stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting the Amalfi Coast. The room was spacious and characterful, reflecting the vision of the architect who designed the hotel. It also overlooked the Bay of Naples so the views were just spectacular. Beds were comfortable, guaranteeing a great sleep and the bathroom luxurious. Breakfast was good, though the selection became a bit...

We stayed at this hotel for four nights over new year's eve. The hotel is a 15-minute walk to Sorrento centre. There is a shuttle every hour but there are only 8 places and so if you do not book in advance, it is possible it is fully booked. The major complaint we had was that there was a lot...

Great view of Neapolitan gulf, 15 min walking distance from Sorrento city center. Nice and large room with stylish furniture. Excellent service (gentle and fast). We had an issue with a window not closing well and it was fixed few minutes later. Good breakfast with great view. In the morning there was a bit of noise of moving chairs as...

Perfectly located above the steep coast, in an awesome park with an elegant baroque castle. Unfortunately, that is not where the hotel is installed, but aside, in a building from the sixties. We were on the top Floor where not only the view was stunning but also the wind that almost didnt let us sleep the first night. The staff...

Dear Carignano, thank you very much for your review and we realized you haven't been so much satisfied. Of Course we try to do whatever we can manage in order to render the stay of our Guests as memorable one, unfortunately about the wind we don't have any power yet. The hotel was perfectly located for a special anniversary. The hotel overlooks the Bay of Naples, with Vesuvius casting its shadow over Pompeii and Herculaneum, Naples in the distance across the bay, and the Sorrento harbour only a 10 minute walk away. The food was excellent, especially breakfast sitting in a panoramic restaurant overlooking the bay with its clear blue sea...

I don't know where to begin with this hotel, everything about it was stunning. The views, the breakfast, the decking where you would swim. Just beautiful. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Five-star accommodation and a prime location sat high on the ancient rampart of tufa, the Parco dei Principi is a testament to the timeless creativity of Gio Ponti, one of the most enlightened advocates of Italian architecture of the 20th century.Between the blue sea of Sorrento Coast and the lush greenery of the botanical gardens, Paul Leopold of Bourbon, the princes of Cortchacow and the entourage of the Russian aristocracy fell in love with this incomparable natural scenery, giving it a solemn historical heritage.Minimal atmosphere and space characterises the 96 rooms with original furnishings designed by Gio Ponti and customized specifically for the Hotel: the famous headboard-beds (1948), toilet set 'Vanity' with circular mirrors (1950), the chair 'Lightweight' (Cassina, 1952) and large fitted wardrobes. A variety of ceramic floors - as many as rooms - in shades of blue and white, in antique Majolica D'Agostino from Salerno, to reflect the colours of the sea and sky of Sorrento: moons, circles, triangles, stars and leaves are also used to tell a different story in every room.At the Restaurant Gio Ponti, a spectacular window over the Gulf of Naples and its islands, the day starts with a grand breakfast. Through striking tunnels in the rock, you arrive at the private beach or at the equipped solarium on the cliff. The pier is home during the summer months to the restaurant Poggio Siracusa where you can enjoy the fresh offerings of the sea accompanied by the sounds of the waves below.Among the horizon, the ancient oaks and the rare trees essences of the enormous botanical park, there is a seawater swimming pool designed by Gio Ponti as 'a mirror of water to wood nymphs'.To restore harmony to the body and spirit, guests can access the Fitness & Beauty Center of the Hotel, the charming majolica rooftop terrace with a view, and the marbled terrace of Villa Cortchacow dating back to the eighteenth century, on which the first ballerina performed to the Court of St. Petersburg.Since 2012, the lobby, with the incredible view of the Gulf has hosted the 'Museum of the Opera', an exhibition of original drawings and furniture in the rooms and in the common areas that have marked the history of Italian design. The business center of the hotel offers several meeting rooms with complimentary Wi-Fi and innovative technology: from the classic style of Sedowa hall with a terrace overlooking the sea, to the most modern modular Leonardo hall, surrounded by the garden Bourbon, with a seat capacity of 350. The outdoor areas offer a pleasant alternative for coffee breaks, lunches and dinners.Within the enchanting scenery of Monti Lattari sloping terraces lined with citrus, Parco dei Principi is an excellent location for pleasant walks through the typical craft shops and luxury shopping streets in the center of Sorrento, and for excursions to the nearby Amalfi Coast, the island of Capri and the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. ... more   less
