This hotel is located within walking distance from central Sorrento. The property has a spacious lobby, a large bar (indoor and outdoor) with live music. Breakfast buffet was adequate and certainly well attended (get there early!). Room was average with furnishings like what I have seen at Ikea. Bathroom was small. Open closet concept was not easy to store all luggage and items. Balcony was nice. Pool was large and there were other outdoor recreational facilities on property. Concierge was less than helpful; possibly just too busy. Plan on doing your own planning. Front desk and bell staff were mostly friendly. No real benefits for Diamond membership. In fact, while I advance booked and paid for my suite, the rest of my (non-Diamond) traveling parties were just upgraded for free upon arrival. We stayed eight nights at the Hilton Sorrento and were upgraded to an Executive room with seaview as we are diamond members. The staff is wonderful as they are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. All of them speak English well. I find that it is the staff that makes a hotel memorable. Our room was bright, clean and newly renovated with a large bathroom, storage space and balcony. The bed was large and comfortable. Internet was fast enough for uploading photos. Television had ample foreign channels. Housekeeping did a fine job and our room was always cleaned when we came back from a daytrip. Just a neutral remark: Although the room is very spacious I found the cupboard space somewhat limited. The space near the entrance where the safe is located offers room for a larger cupboard with drawers. No external noise what so ever which is a major plus. Despite Covid the breakfast was varried with hot options and a kind of buffet. No selfservice. Fresh fruit is always a plus. The executive lounge was located on the ground floor. Wine, hard and soft drinks and some snacks and pastry were offered. The lounge closes at 20.00 which is relatively early. The highlight of the lounge was Guiseppe who offered a very warm and personalized service. He added very positively to an already excellent stay. We did not have dinner at the hotel as we enjoy trying out local restaurants . We are small eaters and not the kind that like to sit in a restaurant for hours Parking is 17 euro a day on a private parking lot and there is some free street parking. We chose the paid parking as that is more convenient. Location is fine and preferreable to a hotel on a busy street. It is a 10 minute downhill walk to Corso Italia and then you are in the middle of the Sorrento action. The train and bus station is also within walking distance, but do not buy a ticket for the express train as it is four times the fare and only skips one station. Plenty of room for families if you book the suite. Great breakfast for all tastes with a dramatic view of the volcano. Great pools and easy walk to the main square. Take a stroll through the on site orange grove. You can and should taxi to the smaller fishing village to dine and walk back.

Hilton Sorrento offers beautiful panoramic views over Vesuvius and Napoli bay! Abundant breakfast with local specialities, executive lounge offering nice snacks for aperitivo. Very comfortable and clean spacious rooms with balconies. The staff is courteous and hospitable. We will come back!

We stayed for 5nights at the Hilton Sorrento. Location was great and less than a 20 minute walk through the gates of the hotel grounds to the main square, shops and restaurants. They were hosting a few conferences so the exec lounge was temporarily relocated to their main lobby lounge, the offering was great and the service and staff were friendly and welcoming . We were lucky with the weather apart from some showers on day 1 every other day was 17/19 degrees and the hotel is beautiful. Thank you for a great stay and the lovely staff in reception, lobby bar and throughout who made it even more enjoyable!

First off - the pictures they have posted on the internet of the room - at least the first picture you see and that catches your eye - is not the room you will get. The room we had was outdated, small, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor, and the doors shut really hard which is VERY LOUD. If your neighbor came in super late - you are getting awaken by the slamming of the door. The bars are nice and the people are friendly, but the rooms need help. No comfy chair to sit in, no extra space, nothing and I mean nothing fancy about it at all.

Beautiful hotel about a 15 minute walk/~$17 taxi from town. We had a superior room overlooking the bay & Vesuvius. It was very spacious and had amazing tub. House keeping was impeccable! Pina at front desk was so lovely and very helpful at checkout. I was disappointed that the pool closes at 5pm. We never returned from our adventures early enough to enjoy it.

Quite expensive hotel with none of the services expected at this price level. The room was old and there was black mold in the bathroom. The breakfast was disappointing and tasteless. They had a conference and the people made a lot of noise, which lead to 2 sleepless nights without any proper apology or anything from the hotel. The driver to the airport was also quite overpriced for the service. All in all disappointing. This what definitely not worth the money.

The professionalism and excellent customer service made our stay at the Hilton Sorrento Palace! We got off to a rocky start at checkin due to a missed pickup at the train station. It could have really soured our visit to Sorrento, but within 24 hours of our arrival, the front desk staff turned our experience around with a beautiful upgrade and sincere commitment to making sure we enjoyed our stay. A very special thank you to Daniele, who met us at checkin, orchestrated the upgrade, and insured that our stay was amazing! He deserves 5 stars for sure!

We were here earlier this week checking out today and from arrival to check out we were treated so wonderfully. When we first got to our room there were welcome cookies waiting for us and all of the staff was willing to help in any way that they could. Oh and I am used to often sleeping in a pull out sofa or roll away bed some are better then others and the one that we were provided here was one of the best I have ever gotten.
