Easy access to Sorrento either walk it or take a passing bus, tickets sold at front desk and cheep. The food was good ,service good, hotel very clean and staff very helpful. What else can I say I just loved my holiday in that hotel.
Fantastic food, wonderful staff, tranquil grounds and amazing views across the bay. A very clean and tidy hotel, nothing too much trouble. Just loved the rabbits in the gardens, helped the ambience of this hotel.
We stayed at this hotel for the third time in May.we cannot stress how wonderful the staff are. They work tirelessly to ensure you have a great holiday. All the staff are fantastic.Pino the maitre D,his assistant Liberato and his team in the restaurant are superb and you are treated like royalty. Food is amazing there, and it is such a lovely experience eating outside atlunchtime amongst the lemon trees. Flora and her team in the bar are excellent, also Alberto who runs the bar by the pool is brilliant too!Cannot stress enough how amazing ALL the staff are. Yes,the hotel is a little way out of the town, but there is a shuttle service which too is brilliant and is driven by Mario who too is very helpful. The view from the roof terrace has a fantastic view of Mount Vesuvius. We really cannot fault this Hotel, and yes we will be returning in April for the fourth time. Are we counting the weeks until our return....Yes!!!…
We came to visit this hotel for a couples holiday and found that we were possibly 30 years to young to fit into the demographic. Despite the incredible roof top views our double room was 2 single beds pushed together which being a couple under the age of 50 wasn’t ideal. The food wasn’t really anything to write home about you could just about manage to eat enough to survive. Staff were friendly and hotel was fairly clean but very dated. The quality of drinks was also very poor, I would recommend looking at a different hotel or possible self catering.
Cannot fault anything about our trip! The TUI staff within the hotel were always there to answer questions or book things. The evening entertainment in the hotel was great with various quizzes, games nights and music. Not as central to Sorrento as some hotels, but the regular shuttle bus the hotel operates is very regular and convenient. Sorrento is walkable, but very little pavement on that road so may not be appealing to some. Worth checking out the Roman bath/lido which is just a short walk up the hill and then down a path... lovely views of Vesuvius from there too. The hotel is well equipped and offers many lovely places to relax in the sun or have a drink.... al fresco lunches in the lemon garden are so idyllic. Dinner is held either in the al fresco area or main dining room. There is a pool bar and then the main bar. always having an amazing choice on offer. Having the lemon tree garden as an additional area to laze in the sun is stunning. The garden has a dozen bunnies running loose being as bunnies should... such time wasters 😊 So a lovey area If you want quieter time than just laying around the pool... if you do get warm in the garden though, there are a few jacuzzis to cool the skin down without having to leave the garden to get to the main pool. The real thing that makes any holiday, other than the beauty (and sun) though are the staff.... and the staff in this hotel are amazing. The “maitre d” Pino is an amazing character. So warm and personal... gives that little bit more during dining times, along with his assistant Liberto. Flora and all her team are amazing in the bar, can never do too much for you. We really found that if you take the time to engage a little more with any of these amazing staff, no matter what area they work in, you have an even more special time back... amazing laughs over our seven days with waiters and bar staff in particular. Add the history and views - and you have an amazing holiday so can’t recommend it enough. Will we be going back - hell yeah!! Booked an 11 night stay for next June... the extra few days should allow more downtime in between visiting this fantastic part of Italy. …
