This hotel had everything, location, nice comfortable bedrooms and pool area. Breakfast had good continental choice in pleasant surroundings. Would stay here again and would recommend it, staff very helpful.

Just back from a week long stay in the Hotel Carlton. This hotel offers excellent staff, excellent breakfast variety and is very clean throughout. We were a 2 minute walk from the main square and all the amazing local eateries. The staff were more than helpful with train, bus and boat timetables. Their advice was fantastic for helping us organise...

Visited Sorrento as part of a trip of Italy with my girlfriend and both instantly fell in love with the city! Hotel was in a great location, staff were very helpful, breakfast was basic but nice, views were excellent, would definitely recommend this hotel!

How this hotel got 4* is beyond my understanding. Good location ( but lets face it Sorrento is so small that you can be in any other hotel in the city center and you would still be only 5 min walk from things to see), reception staff with very limited knowledge of places to recommend for eating (unless you want...

If traveling to Naples and visiting the coasts, Sorrento is the place to stop by. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city centre, at walking distance from the port, the old town and shops. Our room was overlooking the garden/swimming pool, very nice, very quite. The staff at the hotel have been all very kind. We...

Admittedly if I was to return to Sorrento for a duration of more than a week, I would be looking for something more fitting, such as an all inclusive hotel, with more extras includes in the package, but for a 2 night stay, whilst in wait for my brothers wedding, the Carlton International was a simple yet grand place to...

I know that the hotel has had mixed reviews, but we found the place to be great, particularly given the price; the rooms are not huge but of a decent size and the whole hotel is clean. The pool is of a good standard and the staff were all helpful. There is wifi but only in the lobby area -...

My friend and I stayed in a seaview room on the 4th floor with a balcony overlooking the bay and across to Vesuvius. Fantastic location, walk to everywhere, breakfast good with a decent selection. Staff were courteous and efficient. Bar and pool area at the back were pleasant and relaxing. Easy walk from the train station for arrival and departure....

This hotel must be rated 4 star because it meets minimum criteria like a pool and lifts etc but not in any other way. First the good news, it is well situated for the town centre and the staff are very friendly. That's it. Now the bad news. As you enter the the lobby is basic with seating that must...

We stayed here for two nights as part of a mini tour of the Amalfi Coast so did not choose the hotel. We were given a room at the back of the hotel with a view over the pool which was quiet and clean and tiny bathroom. No wifi in room but worked well downstairs. Lovely breakfast and dinners that...
