Excellent location: 7 min level walk to Tasso Square and another 5 to station. Friendly and helpful staff. Good spread for breakfast: cereal, bread/toast, yogurt, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, croissants, jams, cakes. Walls very thin which means noisy. Room had a damp smell. King size bed in room. Cleaned daily and fresh towels each day. Ironing room at hotel and self...

A very good hotel. Within a short walk of all amenities. The room was ideal and had everything you could have needed to use as a base for touring the local area. The staff were very friendly and helpful and answered any questions or queries we had promptly. The food was of a good standard and reasonably priced with a...

We have just spent a week at the Rivage Hotel and just wanted to say how lovely it was. The room was great, spotless and cleaned every day, fairly basic but had everything we needed. No tea/coffee making facilities but this is the norm in Italy. Our room was a 'garden view room' which had a glimpse of the sea...

When you enter the hotel from the street level (Via Capo, a busy street close to the city center) you´re on the uppermost floor (4) which offers reception, pool and a restaurant with a view towards the Bay of Naples. The hotel offers rooms of different quality and price which are situated on the lower levels 1 to 3. My...

We dined at Rivage Hotel and really enjoyed the experience. The restaurant overlooks the harbour of Sorrento. The food was excellent and the service was fabulous. Went there the next day for coffee. Excellent again. Highly recommended.

Do not book a room on the 3 rd floor. It's just under the reception and bar ( very noisy). We had to move on the 2 nd day. There seems to be poor sound proofing and insulation and drainage ! The hotel indicates there is a spa in response to reviews. There is a local city gym and spa...

We stayed at Rivage Hotel as part of an "allocated on arrival" package from Newmarket Holidays. We were certainly not disapointed with our allocation. The Hotel is situated at the end of the busy main street set close to the overhanging cliff which made a dramatic alternative to the views across the bay of Naples and Mount Vesuvious. The simple...

Stopped for a cappuccino on the walk down to Sorrento. Lovely cappuccino with a little shortcake biscuit and great friendly service. We sat out in the sun but you could sit inside with fantastic views over Sorrento bay.
