We stayed here during our first visit to Naples. This B & B is located in a very convenient area, a very brief walk from the Dante Metro stop, The room was bright, comfortable, clean, and air conditioned. Breakfast was very good (coffee to order, fruit, pastries, meat & cheese), and Mariapia was a gracious hostess. We hope to stay here again during our next visit.

Lovely room's decor, very spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy bed with crisp linen and a choice of pillows like in 4 stars hotels. Italian-style breakfast included freshly baked cake and croissants with drinks made to order. The owner was easy to contact to arrange our check-in. The location is fantastic: monuments, eateries and the best gelato ever all within 10 minutes walk!

We came without booking and got a nice room in the center just next to the piazza Dante and the train station. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. We got very good service. Thank you Massimo!

This B&B is situated on the 1st floor (their is a lift) just off Via Toledo at the south west corner of Piazza Dante. The room we had was well furnished and looked as though it had been recently decorated. The room was big enough and had its own bathroom with shower. Breakfast was as to be expected - bread cheese, meat, preserves and fruit. Also as expected, the espresso coffee was a nice kick start to the morning. This is convenient for bus, metro, shopping, street markets, bars & restaurants.

What a fantastic place to explore Naples from .... So close to the old city and many of the main attractions . Only 4 rooms so you have a personalized experience when staying there. We were in the Dante (blue) room which had a little balcony looking out onto Dante Piazza. One warm night we bought food from the delis and some wine and ate on our balcony looking out at the passing crowds . It was a wonderful experience. With the huge doors closed in the room just about all the street noise was blocked out so we slept really well. The wonderful Genni looked after us at breakfast and did a fantastic job cleaning the room. The rooms are on the first floor with a small lift to get your cases up. There is really good security for the building . A home away from home . Thank you Simona .

We travel a lot and don't normally stay in the same place twice, but would make an exception for Naples. Also don't normally bother putting in a review, but this place is worth it! B & B Piazza Dante is in the perfect location, right in the centre, a few minutes walking distance to museums, restaurants and sights, with the metro station on the doorstep. Two adults and one 9 year old, we had Beatrice room again - bright, clean, spacious, airy, comfy beds (two doubles and plenty of space to move around) and a good hot shower and balcony out onto the beautiful Piazza Dante. Breakfast set us up for the day - a continental spread plus fresh fruit & bread and freshly baked local cakes. There was bottled water, fruit, snacks and hot drinks available at all times and lots of information about Naples and what's going on in and around the city. Simona was unfailingly helpful and friendly from booking to check-out - she gave my son a ball to take to the beach, advised us on how to get to particular exhibitions and sites on public transport, organsied a driver to take us to the airport and back, and just made our few days' holiday away a complete pleasure. Thank you, we'll hopefully be back soon.

We chose this B&B for it's size and location. We were not disappointed, the service and attention received from Simona throughout our booking experience, asking for advice and help to arrange trips was faultless. It was easy to find, we were greeted by Marco and shown around the premise. All the facilities were clean and tidy, our room was at the side of the building with large double glazed windows, so noise was no problem at all. We had a small balcony with a table and chairs. We were able to come and go as we pleased and guests have 24hr use of the coffee and tea making facilities, also small cakes, biscuits and fruit are available to help yourself. Our bed was comfortable and the linen and towels were changed every 2 days. We want to tell everyone about B&B Piazza Dante because we so enjoyed our stay, but also we would like to keep it for ourselves!! We are looking for the opportunity to return.

The facilities were good, the personnel very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good value. The location near the historic district was excellent. There are many restaurants at hand and just round the corner is a supermarket.

The location is excellent. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and key historical sights. Host and staff very friendly. Helped with carrying luggage up one flight of stairs. Super large rooms. Bed uncomfortable as on wheels, made up of two single beds which would move and separate every night and made sleeping well very difficult. Sheets were ill fitting and so often woke up sleeping directly on mattress. Room a bit dark for me and my 'balcony' faced internal building which made it quite but view not appealing.

Well, we booked this place because we liked the location and we believed that there would be security 24/7. There are so many cases when people are robbed in Naples every single day, so it was important for us. Prior to arrival they also wrote it would not be problem to keep our luggage. On arrival there was a woman who let us in and who didn't speak a single word in English, she even couldn't understand what was "water" when was asked. The cost was 60 euro plus tax 2 euro per room with breakfast for one person. For this amount we could easily book an entire apartment through Airbnb or other web. The woman was there only during day time, there are no any security in the building. Needless to say that the room was hot, she didn't make any effort to switch on air-condition prior to our arrival. Moreover, she didn't informed us about a conditioner, didn't provide us with remote control and explanation how it worked. So, when we realized, the condition didn't work she was already gone and no phone was answering. We had to spend first night in a hot room. In the morning, the breakfast is served from 8!!! AM. When we asked them to serve it earlier we were told it was not possible. Breakfast was OK, but there were no any fruits offered at all. There are 3 phone numbers are listed on their website, but all of them are hardly working. One number belongs to a man who speaks English but he was always busy when we sometimes reached him, saying he is in the sea... We had only very busy 2 days and we needed a proper communication, as we coudn''t spend our time calling their numbers and looking for translation. The most terrible thing happened on the last day. We had very limited time - planned to see 3 museum, so we wanted to leave the luggage after check out at 8.30 AM. This woman who didn't speak English didn't want to keep our luggage. We called many times to the man but he was in the see.... As a result, we had to change our plan. In the end, I wouldn't recommend to anyone to stay overnight in Naples in general, because it is probability of 99.9% that you will be robbed. We spent one and a half month in Italy, staying in the hotels and Airbnb (paying from $20 to $200 per night) and this was the only terrible experience we had during our stay in the hotel and outside where someone stole our wallet but gave it away as there were only credit cards.
