Casa del Monacone is a really well run guesthouse with many unique features. It is a former monastery attached to a beautiful church (visit the catacombs if you can) with a large courtyard. All facilities are of a high standard and the service is excellent. Breakfast is simple but high quality with fresh bread, coffee and cereal available. The area...

This B&B is perfectly located in the old and vivid neighbourhood where you really get the feeling of an authentic Italian city. Just outside of the B&B you have plenty of restaurants and pizzerias that will blow your mind. Make sure to ask one of the employees for the best places, the one we talked to was a local. The...

First off, the B&B. The room was clean, modern and had all the facilities one could expect. The actual building is delightfully quirky, located inside an old monastery. The only downside might be the breakfast, with consisted of small sliced of baguette, a little cheese and salami. Nothing to great, but perfectly adequate. The area around felt really unsafe when...

My room was bigger than some studio apartments, clean, and beautifully decorated. Some reviews about the location had me nervous but I loved the location as it was in the heart of the city where residents were on the street talking with one another, fruit and vegetables stores lined the street and Casa Del Monacone is within walking distance of...

Casa del Monacone was a great stray although we had to shorten our stay. Giuseppe was lovely and really helpful with local places to eat and sites of interest. Very attentive at breakfast time. Place was clean and comfortable with access to kitchen and tea/coffee during the day. It's tucked away but worth the trip if you want a real...

i can't imagine experiencing naples any other way. located on the crazy, lively, authentic 'holy mile', casa del monacone gave me a 'real' taste of napoli. the accommodation itself is fine and the surroundings are spectacular. from the dramatic entry to the cloister beneath the bridge, to navigating the narrow streets lined with vendors, to the nearby catacombs...you'll get a...

Casa Monacone is a very well run organisation, we were impressed. Casa Monacone had arranged for Ciro to pick us up from the airport and this made the first bit of travel very easy. Giuseppe was waiting for our arrival gave us a warm welcome explained everything really carefully with a map- all the sights to visit and best places...

We enjoyed the helpful and very hospitable staff, the beautiful rooms, the breakfast and the calm beautiful place in the middle of the noisy Naples! The area of Sanità is typical for Naples, we enjoyed it a lot!

Stayed with our two small children and we, and they, loved it. Room was really comfortable, clean and very trendy with the designer ceramics and bathroom. Staying in the Sanita' quarter was great fun and much more interesting than a soulless cituy centre hotel. Sitting on the terrace at night watching the city was wonderful. Best of all however were...

It is further out from the centre but the area has its own, if busy, charm. There's shops, fruit sellers and a pizza place across the road and a lift up to the bridge a couple of metres away (though this closes at... 8pm and 2pm Sundays as far as I remember). The staff are all kind and helpful, the...

“Best location!”

“The rooms have names rather than numbers, are all on the third floor (there is an elevator) and look out over a bustling street scene and piazza, but the soundproofing is excellent. We stayed in "Vesuvius" and it was very spacious with a gorgeous tiled bathroom, kitchenette counter and small refrigerator.”

“We had a room facing the road. The windows were some kind of soundproof because they blocked out 100% of the noise outside.”
