We went toNaples for my birthday. We took advantage of two nights in this b&b. Lovely large clean bedroom and private bathroom An excellent lounge where you have breakfast and can sit in the afternoon on the sofa. Breakfast was simple but enough for us. A brioche , coffee or tea and fresh bread with marmalade , sliced cheese and ham. Melon and some grapes and two types of confection cakes The lady who was at the reception and who also prepared the breakfast was so kind and helpful We slept well , in silence and it is near the underground. Fully recommend it
To enter the Hotel you have to use 3 different set of keys. The garden needs some attention and clean as it looks abandoned. My room had a very small computer size TV. Breakfast choices were very poor. The old building had some art décor. My room was very large and the bed very comfortable. The Hotel indoor is very clean. The staff ( one person for all duties) was very friendly and kind. First time I stayed in a Boutique Hotel....so unusual accommodation... I would recommend to check in during daylight time as, if this is your first time in this Hotel, the front appearance get it mistaken for a garage.
AVOID! Really not worth the money !! The WiFi barely worked, nor did the entrance key. Breakfast was pitiful Area is so noisy, I didn’t get a decent nights sleep the whole time and the bed was rock solid. Lots of dodgy electrics too. Garden area was a concrete slab painted green and a forest of weeds and I didn’t dare look in the well/pond. AVOID! Complaint being raised with my travel company.
Visited this lovely rustic hotel on the 7th to the 10th of May. The hotel was beautiful, very interesting architecture. The rooms were clean on arrival and were cleaned each day. The owner was lovely and catered to our every need. Located in a good area. The breakfast consisted mainly of a few pastries but there is a fruit shop around the corner if this isn’t to your fancy.
We booked the hotel through Amoma for one night. At the arrival, the hotel external conditions were terrible, it looks like the building is going to fall on your head at any moment. However, given the price, the conditions of the room were acceptable EVEN IF it varies a lot from room to room. While the first room was clearly recently renovated, the second room we booked was old and the bathroom was in poor conditions ( it did not even have the support for the shower head). The real disappointment came in the morning. The breakfast was awful, the quality very poor and, when the time of the check out came, it arrived also the biggest surprise. We were request to pay 20 euros additional fee for having park the car inside. This additional fee was never specified to us at any moment before. We refused to pay and we were adressed to another person who talked whit us by phone admitting that it was not specified anywhere but that the fee should have be paid no matter what. It was at this time that we were threaten by the receptionist "I will not open the door and you will not leave the hotel". We had a train to catch and therefore we felt forced to pay the fee. Definitely not reccomended.…
