This was by far the most comfortable place we have stayed during our holiday in Naples! Gialuigi, the owner was very welcoming and helpful! The room and bathroom was remarkably clean and spacious. In the morning, breakfast was already prepared on the table for you! It is a decent breakfast with bread, jam, cereals and a bottle of water as complimentary drink for you to bring every morning. We were very well being taken care of. In addition, orange juice, milk and yogurt can also be found in the fridge.

As we had a tight schedule during the days, coming "home" to a good quality mattress and pillows were haven to us. We slept like a baby here...On our first night, we had pizzas delivered to our door (which was amazing)! Also, the location is literally a 5 minute walk to the train station, 1 minute or less to the bus station. Once you are on the train, it only takes an extra 8-10 minutes to town! In short, we have had a very pleasant and well-rested holiday here!!!

oh my god! The most confortable place we have stayed during our holidays in Naples! Is the most beautiful compliment that you could say to me! Thank you very much! I'm very happy for that! :) Yes I give to my clients one small bottle of water a day... no one before tell that in review... I think that small things make you great. :) I'm happy you slept well with good pillows I gave 2 pillows each person for every needing.. I hate when I travel and I find very slim pillow so I thought to give a thin one and the other double :) Also I love that you told us of possibility to order food for delivery direct in the room. The last thing about trains form here and few minutes to reach the center. What can I say?! Pefect review! Thank you so much! I love it! I hope to see you again! By 4 now :)

I visited Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Naples. I could not have asked for a better location to allow me to easily travel to all these places. Rooms Rent Vesuvio is literally a 5 minute flat, straight, casual walk to and from the train station to visit all these places. I paid no more than €1.30 to travel to each of these places.
Your host Gianluigi is more than a host, he becomes your friend. He is very friendly and does everything he can to help ensure you have a perfect stay. He will offer airport transfers, directions, maps, he will even arrange for you to have food delivered to your room if you wish. In doing all of this he still allows you your own space and time. A perfect host.
The apartment is beautiful. I wish I lived in such a well designed and furnished home. Immaculately clean and lovely views of Naples and mountains from my balcony. It is located in a secure gated complex and I felt very safe at all times. I walked 15 minutes to some local shops by myself late one evening and felt perfectly safe.
Breakfast is provided in the style of a help yourself continental breakfast. Coffee, juices, cereals, bread/toast, morning cakes, yoghurt, biscuits and a complimentary bottle of water to take with you each day.
In summary, don't look to stay anywhere else if you are visiting this area, stay at Rooms Rent Vesuvio. You will realise what a good decision you have made within seconds of walking through the front door.

Deciding to try this B&B outside of the city center turned out to be the single best decision I made. The proprietor, Jianluigi, does not just rent out rooms but truly welcomes you into his home, I will explain in a moment, but first the details. The apartments are in a quiet development only a few minutes walk from the Metro and local bus lines. They are spacious, well dressed and immaculate. Jianluigi personally introduces you to the amenities and provides fairly complete information for getting around and seeing Naples. He even can make himself available as a car service if you want to stay in the city past the last train as an alternative to taxis (you may also want to consider this if you are arriving by train as the Naples metro takes a little getting used to). His personal attention to details combined with the very reasonable price already made this B&B a 5 out of 5. Oh and try the local restaurant he suggests, it was incredible.

However, it turns out this is only the beginning of the care he gives, let me explain. Midway through my stay I became ill, I would never have expected this man to care for me the way he did, I was prepared to just stay in my room, rest and wait. Instead he regularly checked on me, took my temperature, tried to get me to go to the doctor, then went himself to describe my condition to the pharmacy doctor and brought back both medication and instructions. He first translated and explained to me what was going on, what the medication was and how I was to take it. He cooked me rice with olive oil and lemon juice to take with the medication. He checked on me regularly, helped to take my temperature and made sure I took a pill every 8 hours. When I felt better to go out the next day he still reminded me to take all the medication and to take it every eight hours. Without his care, at best, I may not have recovered quick enough to enjoy the rest of my holiday. When I thanked him, and told him how grateful I was, his response was that I was his guest, and to do any less was not possible. What can you say after that.

Hallo thank you very much for your review. I really moved into reading it. I'm glad you left this testimony really valuable to me because thanks to reviews like this people can understand that sometimes it is not just a matter of location, with private bathroom or not, or even a matter of price but also the person who hosts you. This can make a difference. Thank you again.

Vesuvio bed and breakfast was an excellent choice for me , very good transport options into the centre of the city which is only 10 minutes away by train. My host Gianluigi was very welcoming and provided me with plenty of maps and directions on how to get about and visit all the sights and scenery of Naples and the surrounding area. My room was very clean and comfortable and I had excellent nights sleep in the comfortable bed. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast and I will be returning.

Thank you very much for your wonderful review. I’ve loved your attention on the confortabile bed. I assume my guest pay first of all for sleep so I bought beds I would like to find if I were my guest. This make me feel so happy that you enjoyed your stay even for that reason. Too much people forget they pay for sleep basically. Thank you very much again and I really hope to meet you here in the future.

I arrived in the evening by train, and because the directions on Gianluigi's website were so easy to follow I made my way to the correct train station, but like a previous review, I turned right instead of left at the train station and got lost. As it was a Sunday evening, there were no staff. I asked some locals which way to go, but they were unsure but extremely helpful. Eventually I found the building but had to call Gianluigi to take me to the room. I was so glad I booked this B&B. Gianluigi was so welcoming and the B&B was spotlessly clean. I booked a single room but was upgraded to a double room with balcony. I became sick while staying here, and Gianluigi checked on me to make sure I was OK. He organised dinner to be delivered for his guests and I took advantage of the transfer to Naples airport that Gianluigi offered. I cannot fault this B&B and Gianluigi was friendly and caring. Highly recommend staying here!

The room was fantastic, lovely size and a lovely big balcony with amazing views! Gianluigi is a fantastic host, and gave us lots of advice when we first arrived, and had already printed out lots of useful things like train maps etc for us. The train station was only 5mins walk away - only a 10min journey to Naples centre. We only ended up staying one night as we went to meet friends in Sorrento, but would definitely recommend this b&b to others wanting to be near Naples centre.

When I book a single room I have got used to being put in something approaching the size of a cupboard! The single room in this apartment is a good size with a large bed and a lovely balcony overlooking Naples.
Breakfast is a good selection of cereals, pastries, cakes, bread, yoghourt, juice and great coffee or a selection of teas.
The train station is just 5 minutes away and to get to Pompeii or Herculaneum you only need to change once, and it is very cheap. However, if you are not Italian,be warned there are no electronic boards, timetables and often no platform directions, so you have to be prepared to ask for help as you begin to find your way around, so some basic Italian is very useful. Gianluigi had helpfully printed off some timetables for me. He also will collect and take you to the airport if you are arriving by plane.
There are local pizzerias or you can get a meal delivered to the apartment.
I had a brilliant 3 days.
Thank you Gianluigi

Are there en suite bathrooms with shower for double rooms?
Answer from Gianluigi C
Naples, Italy22 contributions17 helpful votes
Hi there No I'm sorry I don't have any suite. Here is a bed & breakfast not a luxury Hotel. Here I have 3 rooms, 2 double and a single plus 2 shared bathrooms. I normally used to have maximum 4 people if they are couples so one double take a bathroom and one take the other one. If I have request for a single room I don't consider it in that case. Otherwise if the guests are a family or a group of friends I take maximum 5 or 6 guests at the same time but this happen in some very special occasion. I take care of my guests I'm very worried about their stays. I clean house rooms and bathrooms maniacally. But if you are looking for a suite with a private bathroom inside may you have to search for a hotel not for a bed & breakfast. It is possibile some bed & breakfast have it but it will be more expencive of mine in that case why choose to go in a bed & breakfast? When you decide to spend time in a B&b may you want spend time with person or family that guest you and knowing local traditions that is the spirit of B&b. Is like To live some days with friends who guest you in his house. That is bed & breakfast. Thank you.
