The strongest point of this B&B are the people who work there, both in the B&B and in the restaurant downstairs. Always helpful, flexible, smiling and easy-going. The rooms are simple and you should chose those that are not to the street, because the traffic is quite noisy. All in all it's worth the money and it's recommendable.

Ms. Noemi and Mr. Giovanni are very friendly people. This was my 4th time there, and the 1st of my wife. The location is close from everything: museum, bus stop, metro stop, historic center. Enrico Pessina street is the continuing of Via Toledo, the street of stores. You can move easily for all parts of Naples from there! We recommend... More

Although the city capitalizes on its ruins and old buildings, this hotel doesn't!! it can do much better since it is located near to great museum and a good street. However, the personnel (except for the owner who is truly a lovely and welcoming person) are very cold and don't provide any hospitality!! I appreciated the restaurant but didn't appreciate... More

This is a 4 star hotel without a working elevator. There is no reception area. When we arrived, there was only the kitchen on the dark ground floor. We had a car. Parking spaces are very hard to find. We were directied to a garage, which was difficult to find, 2 blocks away that charged 25 Euros per night. At... More

Dear Mrs Karen and Mr Ralph, we're very sorry about your stay in our B&B. First we want to specify that we're not a 4 star hotel but simply a Bed and Breakfast, as you can check on Expedia. For this reason we don't have 24 hour reception, normally after 5.00 p.m. our guests can check-in through our restaurant "La... More

We stayed four nights there and this hotel was exelent and very valuable. The location of hotel was perfect and Metro and bus connections was near the hotel. Brakefast was also good and free in hotel's restaurant. Rooms was very silent (even our room was heading to Via Toledo) and clean because our room cleaned every day. I liked this... More

I am fairly easy to please but the problems just kept coming with this place. I received a twin bed, which was fine. I was a solo traveller and I had no issue with this and the price was more affordable. When I arrived it was fairly easy to find this place but there was no sign to where the... More

Perfect location for walking the old centre of naples. The advertised breakfast-buffet did not exist, no problem however you're surrounded by little bars that provide espresso's and croissants

This was by far just about the worst place I have ever stayed in. Me and my girlfriend had booked in for 2 nights. Both us girls felt extremely worried about staying here. The room was extremely damp and affected our breathing - in the height of a Naples Summer the room was stifling - we couldn't really have windows... More

The exterior of the old building in which La Locanda dell'Arte is located is misleading. Inside, a remarkably attractive, simple but extremely comfortable place at a reasonable price. The staff is professional, friendly, very helpful but never pushy. House Café around The corner also quite nice. All near magnificent Museums and schools. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
La Locanda dell'Arte contains in its name the whole sense of our favorable welcome! La Locanda dell'Arte is located in the Naples historic centre, in an accurately renovated XVIII C. Building. The structure is very close to the most famous Neapolitan theatres: Bellini Theatre , San Carlo Theatre , San Ferdinando , Mercadante, Augusteo Theatre , Bracco, that can be easily reached in a few minutes walk. That's the reason why it became the artists' and actors' favourite place to stay during their show-tours. Its strategic location, in the middle between the Academy of Arts , the National Museum and Bellini Street promenade, assures a quiet and silent stay, far from the traffic noise, and a good chance to plunge into the magical historic centre. From here you can visit all the artistic and historical attractions of the city: Via Costantinopoli, Piazza Bellini, Santa Chiara Monastery with its celebrated Cloister, San Severo Chapel, San Gregorio Armeno and the Underground City ( Napoli Sotterranea ). Through the tube line (tube station at 200m) you can easily reach Ercolano, Pompei, Sorrento and the Vomero hill. Our rooms overlook the Bellini street promenade. All our guests can use the internet point in the common area and have access to the WI-FI service for free . ... more   less
