I booked this place (I can not call it a hotel), although its name is Art Hotel Principe Umberto trough a travel agency. Everything in the name of the so mentioned "hotel" is deceiving. First, it's not "art" and you can see this from the pictures I have uploaded. It's not a hotel as well, as there is not a... More

We booked the Art Suite principe umberto through a Travel Agency as Bed and Breakfast for 5 nights. The red haired receptionist was very friendly and helpfull and definitely is the jewel of the B&B! The description of the B&B stated that the Art Suite is located near the main train station and is near the historic center of naples.... More

Hotel staff called us to check what time we'd be arriving. We arrived a little later than expected, but that wasn't a problem. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is stunning, though small, and the lift (pretty typically for the city) worked with a 10 cent coin - if at all. The room was stunning, with a... More

I enjoy challenges and new places ...thus Rimini and then Naples were selected for this year's Easter. Naples showed itself as a dumping ground for debri, toxic waste and litter, derelict buildings ...and to put it mildly, the area where crime is an issue. Before arrival I had read a great deal of hotel reviews and finally opted for Art... More

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. Also breakfast was really nice, and served in the room. The girl at reception Virginia, was really friendly, but she needs to improve her English a little. Due to the fact that she does not speak good enough English, it lead to a couple unpleasant experiences for us. For example, she did... More

At our last night in Naples we stayed in Art Suite Principe Umberto: the Bed&Breakfast is not a good base unless you plan to go to the railway station or take the bus to the airport: the Naples central railway station is not very well connected to the subway, so in order to get to the hill section,or Chiaia it... Do not book this place. I arrived late in the evening having told them i would do so from Naples airport to find the place locked up with no response on the buzzer. I had to wander the streets to find a new place to stay - very dodgy at 10.30 on a Saturday night in that area. I am... More

Art Suite Principe Umberto is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was very nice and very clean, the breakfast extremely rich for an italian hotel and Flavia probably the most friendly and helpful receptionist I have ever met. The area is not exactly the most exquisite one, but this is Napoli. If you like... More
