We started our vacation in Pompeii and wanted to be in a local centrally located. We were traveling with friends and booked two rooms. No one was available to check us out to settle our hotel bill. Only the pastry chef was available upon our checkout. We waiting over an hour to have someone drive to hotel to check us...

We didnt plan to stay here, but am glad it ended up being so. The hotel was in a perfect spot for visiting the Scavi and we attended the Dave Gilmour concert so lovely not having a long walk to get back. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom had the usual plus Bidet. The Shower wasnt the biggest,...

We came to Pompeii to visit the ruins but we so pleased to find such a charming town. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Circumvesuviania train from Naples, so need a cab with luggage. Much better than staying close to the station. This family run hotel is just steps from the central square where there are...

Hotel is in a great location. There are 2 train stations in Pompeii - Pompei Scavi and Pompeii. The scavi station is Not close to the hotel it is located near the front entrance of the Pompeii Excavation site. Hotel Amleto is a 5 min walk to the back entrance which is perfect, less busy, the Pompeii station is about...

The hotel is not far from the Pompeii station (not the Pompeii Misterie station, 20 minutes walk) It's one block off main square, and maybe two blocks to entrance of Pompeii. They keep the door locked so you have to ring bell to get buzzed in. Room was large, except for shower stall (normal Italian size). The hotel is on...

First of all, I work in hotels and am usually quite understanding. This experience, however, was really off putting. First of all, they didn't know we we were coming and acted really irritated with us about the fact that they didn't know we had a reservation, despite the fact that I had all of our booking details pulled up in...

Very good location. 5 min walk from train station. 5 min walk to Pompei Scavi. Breakfast is nice and hotel staffs are so kind. the front door of the hotel is usually locked, which is good for security. I recommend this hotel.

For the price paid a good value hotel. Nice central location with good access to the main Pompeii archaeological site and restaurants/bars in modern Pompeii. Room was on the small side and air conditioning struggled at times however bed was comfortable and room clean. A good value option.

Our room was in the corner, paid for three people and the room was quite small. I think they may assign 'expedia' purchasers to least desirable rooms. The AC barely ran and their attitude was 'too bad' when we inquired. The noise front the street was atrocious. I'd avoid it.

This hotel offers large rooms, good bedding, an excellent breakfast and clean bathrooms. What more can you ask for when it is sitting in the centre of the action and a walking distance from the ruins of Pompei. The staff was very friendly and the parking free on the street. This is an old building but very well preserved with...
