Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice staff always wanting to help you (I don’t remember all the names). My phone could not connect to their wifi and one of the girls shared her cell phone internet connection. Alessandro this morning was super kind and helpful. Location is perfect bexause it is quite and very close to the archeological site. They are dog friendly any size. Hotel is modern and very clean

We arrived at this property and were told our accommodation wasn’t in the main building but instead two minutes away up the street. We were then walked round to accommodation with signage up for “Eco B&B”. When we asked about this were then told this was a “sister hotel”. Feel free to Google this but Eco B&B is a 2-star B&B and Diana is a 3-star hotel. The difference was clear from the rooms and there was also c.40 stairs to climb with your luggage with no elevator. The B&B accommodation is above very busy and noisy late night bars and restaurants on the Main street in Pompeii. We highlighted we were unhappy about this particularly due to noise concerns and had booked Hotel Diana not this one and were moved back, taking luggage again with us. In terms of Hotel Diana, this is a nice enough hotel for the money paid. Air con and tv work well. Breakfast was basic but nice and bathroom was pleasant. Luggage storage was available the next day. If staying at a peak time I’d just beat my comments in mind and try to arrive early. We were taken aback about what happened and didn’t get an apology at any point.

Hotel Diana was a great place for us to spend a night while exploring Pompei. Its conveniently only a 10 minute walk from the entrance to the archeological ruins, as well as being near restaurants and one of the main train stations. Staff were friendly and kept our bags for us after checking out while we explored the ruins and also recommended a nice place for dinner. The room itself was spacious and clean, the beds were okay (not bad, not the most comfortable). The included breakfast had plenty of options, good coffee, and it was a highlight being able to eat outside in the garden full of lemon trees. Was a good location, convenient, and a great price.

I had a great stay here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was on the first floor and got exactly what I wanted. A clean quiet room, a location close to the Trenitalia station, plenty of good spots nearby to eat and drink. A winner mix! I’d absolutely stay again.

Lovely hotel off the main road so very quiet, nice ground floor room with a small terrace to sit out on. Room spacious, clean and comfortable, tea making facilities and small fridge. Friendly, helpful staff, nice breakfast if you choose. Great little hotel near the ruins and lots of bars and cafes at a reasonable price.

We stayed two nights at Hotel Diana during our visit to Pompei. The location is perfect, a 20 minute walk from the main entrance of the archaeological park, near great restaurants, and right around the corner from the train station. While the hotels outside areas are beautiful and convenient to have an aperitif, I would say that is where the benefits end. The room is quite basic, which for the price is fair, and was kept clean. The walls are extremely thin and it was difficult to sleep at night and if you are assigned a room on the first floor you will hear everything from the breakfast room in the basement. The “Wi-Fi” was also non-existent inside the rooms, we could only access it outside in the courtyard. Overall, while this hotel worked for a couple nights during our visit, I would not return. Their sister hotel of Bosco de Medici seems like it would be the best option.

Couple problems early on with a/c but staff quickly resolved. Close to nearly everything. Breakfast was adequate. Staff is competent. Best feature is the courtyard which has hybrid fruit trees and is peaceful. Need more English TV channels. Would stay here again.

Very helpful and friendly staff, nice rooms and within walking distance of the ruins, The hotel is very close to the centre of town and a lot of eating out places. you can also get the train from here to Napoli and with a ten minute walk get the transfer to Napoli Aeroporto. Only downside is the breakfast which is very disappointing.
