The hotel was really nice with an older charm. Views of the sea are amazing and it's in a great location, the boats are just down the road and the town is right outside. The only issue I had was you can hear everything that goes on in the hallways as well as outside and next door. Pretty sure there... More

A nice hotel hotel in a perfect location. We stayed in a quadruple room, which was great for our family. It was at the front with a small balcony. Not noisy at all with the windows closed and AC on. Paid parking in the garage. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The Hotel Amitrano was a lovely experience. We arrived late and without a reservation, but the staff was very accommodating in making sure we found a room. Well kept rooms and lovely breakfast. Hotel staff went out of their way to drive us to the train station to catch our train- thank you Monica!

We chose Pompei as base for exploring Pompeii, Herculaneum, Vesuvius and Paestum, and it turned out to be a good choice. We chose the Amitrano based on other reviews and were happy that we did, I have been persuaded to give 4 rather than 5 stars because it was a bit further from the ruins than other possible hotels and... In hotel Amitrano you feel very very good. Nice clean rooms with all you need for a good stay . Very nice gardenrestaurant. The staff and owner very helpsome. Food typical Italien and very good. The hotel is situated in the center, only few steps from the big Basilica, and the historical part of Pompei only few hundred meters from... More

Nice hotel three minutes from centre of Pompeii, but a little bit far away from main train station (arround 2 kilometres). Staff speak so so english, but always done talking with them and they are very kindly. Room was clean and nice. All the time we travelling, so we only go to sleep there and have a shower..for this needs... More

The hotel is located in a great spot but its a shame that the hotel is very run down and the service was not the best either. We unfortunately spent 1 week there and I would not reccomend anyone to stay or eat there. Their food is below average and expensive for what its worth, to be quite honest it... More

Hotel is centrally located which is great for walking to and from locations and amenities. Rooms are very tired, especially the bathrooms. The bathrooms are VERY tiny and it's necessary to almost climb across the toilet to get into the shower. The shower was in desperate need of a good clean with a lot of mould build up needing to... Our class, from Berkeley, CA, was in the Bay of Naples for two weeks at the end of March/beginning of April to visit different sites and museums in the region. We decided to stay in Pompei because it's a nice town with good restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. and is conveniently situated on three major train routes. When it came to... More

Location is excellent but this is a tired hotel. Family run with a few generations running around. The room was dismal, fairly clean but dark & dingy. They convinced to eat in their restaurant which served a very good traditional Italian meal. The garden restaurant was an amusing indoor room separated by fake trees to the driveway to the parking...
