We were trying to find a place to stay between Florence and the Amalfi coast and someone recommended Gaeta. It's a bit off the Autostrade, but the hotel was a delight. Grounds are beautiful, rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the dinner was delicious. They had a wedding the night we were there and gave us rooms away from...

My friend and I used to sell this hotel many years ago when we worked for a holiday company, so there was no question about where we would stay when we decided to go to Gaeta. I was slightly nervous that it would not live up to expectation, but I shouldn't have been. Our only regret was that we didn't...

Villa Irlanda is a family owned and operated hotel and ristorante. The grounds are immaculate. The service is top shelf and the rooms are spacious and quiet. Pool-side service is very reasonable and access to the pool area is extended until 1800 on the day of departure. Beautiful property and fantastic food. The breakfast (included) catered to westerners as well...

We stayed here for four nights for a wedding. The hotel is amazing in a beautiful setting with brilliant pool. The rooms were great. The service at the wedding wasn't great with the meal finishing at 1.30am serving the main course of steak at 12.30am not a good idea way too late. Breakfast and lunch were ok it is a...

I have now visited this hotel twice. It is utterly charming and relaxing. As soon as you arrive, you can feel the serenity of the grounds seep through and calm you down. I stayed in the middle building or rooms 305 etc and they have a great view of the pool and the sea win the old town of Gaeta...

Stayed here while on our honeymoon for three nights. It has a lovely private beach with a nicepool within the complex. Would highly recommend eating at least one night in their restaurant during your stay. The breakfast was lovely with great views. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely return.

We stayed for just one night as we drove from Rome to Amalfi. Gaeta isn't anything particularly special and to be honest the hotel isn't really "in" Gaeta but around 1km outside. Because of that we chose to have dinner at the hotel which was a good move as the food was great and good value. So the rooms, we...

We stayed for two nights in this beautiful place. The grounds are gorgeous and expansive, the rome as lovely and everything was spotlessly clean. The place was great, but it was the staff that really made our stay memorable. Every single staff member we encountered was helpful, friendly and professional. We would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!!

It's an interesting place. The front office will make you think you are in the wrong place. It is less than spartan. The property, however is very beautiful and very big. If it rains there's a little problem as the buildings are far from each other. The gardens are amazing and the swimming pool area is great to relax. During...

This is a perfectly adequate hotel and off season in early April was good value for the money. The grounds are indeed beautiful and had the lovely, large pool been open would have been perfect. Breakfast was quite good. We did not eat in the restaurant. Staff were coolly efficient to charming and helpful. However the hotel lacks charm. The...
