A tired old hotel not worthy of 4 stars. many steps and no one to help with luggage. Only redeeming factor is the nice patio and view and the location. No fridge, no coffee maker no amenities of any kind Horrible breakfast

What a beautiful location on the beach of Serapo everything from the outside looks fantastic outdated rooms clean but so 1970s and please don't push two single beds together and call them a double it just does not work no Wi-Fi staff pleasant especially the bar staff who were very helpful. Breakfast was fine but a bit of a trek... More

Loved the location Customer service lively and welcoming Rooms clean and well maintained Decision on this hotel was based on pool photos, a little misleading to say the least. Good valve and breakfast was good. Bar was lovely with nice staff. Grounds lovely

The hotel is very large so you do not get the personal touch that smaller establishments offer. The rooms were quite basic, no fridge, small shower etc. At breakfast it was very chaotic just because of the shear number of people with it being a large hotel and the choice was quite limited with no hot food option

We stay here while visiting family because it has a (small) pool and the beach, plus a decent restaurant for lunch and dinner if you need. Service and cleanliness is good, and rooms are big, but I think the last update was in 1975. At least there is wifi in the rooms now....before you used to have to connect in... More

Nice place in a lovely town with a great location and fabulous hiking closeby. Hotel was average no complaints. Nice pool available in a very pretty garden. If you book through groupon you can get a good deal which made it worthwhile. I would come back.

The quality of rooms, as well as location of the place, were satisfactioning. The service however, regarding reception desk and restaurant, was nonsufficient. Especially restaurant disapointed me, where the time to wait for a meal was distubingly long. In case of fixed menu and time of the meal (which was always late in the end) it was quite a pity.... Hotel Serapo is a big beachside hotel in Gaeta. My sister who lives in Rome had booked 2 double seaview rooms online, she had already stayed once before and had found it reasonable. When we got to our rooms my sister had 2 single beds and the key to our room did not work so after much discussion they made... More

Don't let the recent pseudo-renovations fool you. Serapo Hotel is the incarnation of a communist era USSR hotel. You will still have to carry around a clunky key holder and might freeze or boil in your room. Safety: zero. The emergency door was left wide open 24/7 for the duration of our stay. This means anyone can walk from the... More

Great location, excellent room, friendly staff but restaurant so disappointing! Yet again fellow diners, cold food served on cold plates. No stars here, staff were quick to respond though despite this irate Englishman. I'll reserve further comment until I've had breakfast.
