B&B in the center of Rome, a short walk from the Vatican Museums Arches B&B features the largest and most comfortable rooms among most of the bed and breakfast in Rome! Located in the suggestive Prati quarter, less than 10 minutes walking from the appealing Vatican Museums and the St.Peter Basilica. It is managed by Fabio, Massimo and Paolo. >. A Bed and Breakfast in Rome with a Great location for any occasion The house is the ideal accommodation for those willing to study, to work, visit Rome and feel at home even away from their country. The B&B is served by all the public transport: bus stops are just at the corner; metro stations are just a 5 minute walk, (Ottaviano - San Pietro, line A). All the most important city attractions are at walking distance or extremely easy to get to. In Arches B&B you'll find comfort, functionality and a rich italian breakfast. Large comfortable bedrooms with private internal bathroom and veranda, air conditioning, 32" lcd television, free wi-fi connection, a fully-equipped kitchen and public living room with an internet point available throughout the day. Our merits: receptive, comfortable, central! We started up this bed and breakfast exhorted by our passion for hospitality and love for Rome - our beautiful city. Here our idea become a reality: strategic location combined with our best service! The same ingredients of our new Arches Inn With the same idea we also manage Arches Inn, our new bed and breakfast 2 minutes walking from Cipro-Musei-Vaticani station (Metro Line A)

We were welcomed by Paolo who was Avery friendly character and gave us an insight into the surrounding of the accommodation however were not impressed with the quality of the bedroom nor the kitchen station. To be called a bed and breakfast I would expect staff to be running the breakfast section. This did not happen and we had to help ourselves to a small selection of biscuits, fruit and croissants which were as cheap as they come. The bed was very uncomfortable and needed more pillows. The shower doors would not close properly and water leaked out on to bathroom floor making it very dangerous to walk through after having a shower. As I say the surrounding area is amazing, local restaurants with nice staff and incredible food (I advise trying both Bella Napoli 1 and 2). Also a beautiful Irish bar just around he corner which provided us with alcohol other than birra moretti and peroni. Overall I would advise you stay away from this accommodation as there are plenty of other places which charge less and provide you with much more adequate facilities.

Hi Charlie, it seems all your complains arise from your disappointment with the breakfast. I can understand how hard taking your food by yourself can be, but that's it: it works like that in many places (Hotels included) and it has nothing to do with the concept of B&B (meaning "bed and breakfast"). Regards,

Centrally located, near the Vatican and full of life outside! The guys running it were very friendly and cooperative and introduced us to the local area very well. Fabio sorted out my taxi from the airport to the Guest House in an excellent and punctual manner including the return trip as requested. The room was very clean and tidy. It has a sweet, shared kitchenette with all breakfast like amenities in the fridge accompanied by fresh fruits, tea and coffee facilities dotted around the kitchen. It is all self service so if you are "on the go" then this set up is ideal. The entrance to the Guest House has a romantic character; it has an elegant, old style lift used to get to the apartment - which my family fell in love with! The Guest House is in a central, nice location with easy access to busses and other nearby transportation services and only 15 minute walk to the Vatican. All in all, a really good place to go and explore Rome!

Located in a residential area close to the Vatican. Within walking distance of lots of sites, restaurants and shops. Obviously as you're in the city it is noisy, if like us you're not used to traffic noise a pair if earplugs soon sorts this. We had the Blue room, it and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Only negative was breakfast, it's more between self catering and B&B. When we booked we knew it was a basic continental which was fine, what we didn't realise was you were allocated a shelf in the fridge and your own cupboard which stored your breakfast goods. Didn't know we would have to prepare it ourselves and then wash up afterwards as it doesn't mention this anywhere. Paolo greeted us on arrival and was extremely helpful and informative. Only other point is when you book you don't actually know which room you will be getting as it doesn't seem to allow you to choose.
