I would just have the hotel call a cab. The people there are very accommodating. I don't think there's anything nearby, and taking the bus wouldn't be practical. Driving in Rome is pretty impossible. Not only are the drivers and roads insane, but the ZTLs (zones limited to traffic) are everywhere. I barely managed to get my rental car out of Rome without crossing into one of them. Cameras are in abundance and the fines hefty.
