The 1 bed is spacious and comfortable. There is a desk and chair, wardrobe, shower. The gents at the reception were helpful and had good suggestions on places to visit and where to eat while in Rome. Looking forward for next visit.

Mosaic is a great hostel for those travelers who have graduated from the "youth hostel" scene and prefer a place to rest, and enjoy the city from a central location. Not close enough to Termini to feel like you are in the thick of the travel hub but close enough to make that early train ride, it is well located...

The room was very quite. The location is good, so we could walk to all major atractions. The staff is awesome and helpful. Breakfast good enough to start your day. The hostel is only 10 mins walk to Termini Station.

This is a good hostel, well located nearby Termini, Castro Pretorio and Reppublica subway stations. The staff is friendly and they have a free luggage storage, also a free breakfast. The rooms are good, very confortable and the bathroom is very clean, a little bit small, but is good enough for all needs. It's a good option, but not much...

The rooms are clean, and spacious. If your room's facing the street then you might get disturbed by the traffic, and that is not a good feeling after having a tiring day. But overall, its a pretty cool hostel. The housekeeping is on point, and there's free breakfast and WiFi. As far as the location is concerned.. we walked everywhere...

Clean, friendly, and well connected: budget travellers cannot ask for much more. The staff are lovely and the rooms are housed in a large old Italian building (with a lift/elevator). The rooms are big and clean. If you simply need a room to keep your bags while you're out stuffing your face with Italian food and wine, this hostel is...

Lovely, quiet hostel. Staff were extremely helpful, a free map is provided along with recommendations of attractions and prices etc. The breakfast was a definite highlight, an assortment of different pastries that were all so delicious - especially considering it's included in the price! Bathrooms were clean and rooms were relatively modern. The shower was in it's own room so...

Finished our 3 week long Europe trip in this hostel. A great location, and fantastic staff! Check in was easy and the staff made us feel instantly welcome. The complimentary breakfast was an added bonus- it's included in the room so I don't know how people can call it 'disappointing'! As two gluten intolerant travellers, the hostel went above and...

Nice place to stay, rooms are large and spacious, very clean and tidy. 3 metro stops within close distance giving access to the two main metro lines and airport train. Friendly staff good rates for the location, many eateries around.

Stayed here for two nights. The hostel was so noisy, we stayed in a private double room right next to the shared bathroom where all the other stayers would shower at midnight 1am in the morning then decide to chat and drink into the early hours of the morning. The breakfast left much to be desired. Stale croissants and breads...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
