Rooms a bit small, stayed there with my husband and teen daughter, but staff very helpful and ideally located close to Rome central station. There are lots of restaurants around to choose from. Also the hop on hop off bus terminus is close by. Breakfast served had a lot of variety.

This hotel was modern and very comfortable with extras. It was close to the train station, hop on hop off bus stop and the centre of Rome. There were many restaurants near the hotel and after a long day one can relax in the sauna, Turkish bath and finish off in the roof top sauna. Staff are attentive and friendly....

The hotel is very well located near the Termini Station but in a side street away from the noises of the Main Street. The reception is working 24/7 and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very very tight, with limited spaces for breakfast. Very nice restaurants in the neighborhood around the corner, they serve perfect Italian...

We stayed here for 4 nights to visit Rome, check in was welcoming and the receptionist spoke very good english and recommended some trips and tours and gave us a map of the area. The room was clean, not very big, but that was fine with us as we were only using it as a base. The bed and pillows...

Wouldn't consider the hotel 4 star. We paid for superior junior suite, quite small, nothing special for the money we paid so disappointed there. Our friends stayed nearby in a 2 star hotel and their room was very spacious and lovely. The hotel itself is very clean, jacuzzi ok, sauna and steam room small. Reception staff very good and helpful....

I stayed in the hotel for three nights with my three children. We had a room with a double and trundle bed added. Despite this, there was plenty of room. The décor was very modern, wooden floors, white bedding and white roman blinds. With wooden blinds and good air con - pretty critical in August. The bathroom definitely had the...

We were overwhelmed with how many hotels there are to chose from in Rome and didn't know where to start but after some research we decided in order to get the best touring location of Rome it was best to stay near the railway station. Ie Termini. Although there are nicer areas to stay in Rome, if you are there...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
