Picasso, Puccini and Stravinsky all made Via Margutta their home. Now, you, too, can draw inspiration from Margutta 54, a unique boutique hotel on Rome's most beautiful, atmospheric street, located a stone's throw from the Spanish Steps. To stay at our collection of converted artist's studios, you have to be as "in the know" as a true Roman. So step off of Via Margutta into a private courtyard-a hidden secret on the gallery-lined street. Walk through the gates into a historic palace setting. And know that here, in the shadow of Picasso's studio, you're home. At Margutta 54, rather than a hotel client, you feel like you are living as an authentic Roman. Make yourself comfortable: enjoy the peace of the private courtyard. Indulge in the exclusivity of residing in an historic artist studio.

Hate to give two stars but this accomodation doesn’t deserve 4 star rating. The room is spacious and clean cannot say anything about it, but when it comes to services that usually come with a 4 star accomodation it lacks a lot. When we first arrived we went in circles to find

Very nicely appointed suite. The only thing I would change when I stay there again is staying in an upper floor as the subway is noisy and the residents who live above the main floor suite we stayed in seemingly paced the floors until very late and started up again at 5am.

This hotel has only 3 rooms. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean but parts of the room, like the floor, seemed a little worn. It wasn't easy for our driver to find the place as it is in a little courtyard with a gate that is locked at night. We were given a key to

This hotel was the gem of our holiday in Italy. We were genuinely amazed that we found such spacious, clean and attractive suites, in such a fantastic location, at such a relatively affordable (for Rome!) price. Via Margutta is perhaps the most beautiful street in Rome, with

My husband and I stayed at the Mario de flora 37 for 2 nights (which we loved) and wanted to stay more so we were “upgraded” to the Margutta 54 for 1 night. All we can say is WOW! The bathtub alone was awesome. The customer service of the whole team was great. The price was not

There is someone available to assist guests during business hours. The path to the rooms are covered with lose stones. It gives a good effect which adds to the charm of the place but might be tricky to walk on.
