It was a very comfortable staying in Rome. This B and B can be evaluated having an excellent ratio price/quality. Sabino - the owner was very helpful. Good communication to all important sites with trams, buses and metro. Thank you.

The room was very clean and big. Bathroom too ! hot water all the time. Great price 70€ a night. Breakfast had all that we needed, coffee, tea, jam, buns, etc. True that the area is scary but we had no problem at all.

I backpacked with a friend this summer and we picked blues because of the great price but honestly the stay ended up being fantastic. The owner and his wife are super sweet and more than willing to give advice on what to do or where to go to get the best gelato/food! It was very quaint and breakfast was ok...

My boyfriend and I were backpacking around Italy last summer and Blues in Rome was our final stay. The only bad point was it was a tad hard to find, however we finally arrived and Sabino (who is lovely!) immediately gave us a map and places he thought we would be interested in visiting. It's only a 20 minute walk...

It took us a while to find this place so we were a bit grumpy on arrival, but the owner was very friendly and talked us thorugh everything we needed to know about the hotel and surrounding areas. (I'm so sorry I can't remember your name but you were lovely!) The room was a good size and very clean so...

My boyfriend and I stayed there last june. It was our first time staying in a B&B, we usually stay in hostels. The owners were so nice! The B&B is near the train station so it's very convenient. Also, the room was big and clean. The breakfast was good too. We would definitely go back.

B&B is centrally located and if you are wanting to do a lot of walking and exploring this was the perfect place to start from. The owners are a husband and wife (with a great little boy) and they are terrific. Breakfast was simple but ample to get the day going and the room was very clean and HUGE! I...

The Blues B&B was great! Convenient location, clean rooms, helpful owners. We felt like we were staying in our own apartment! The beds and pillows were a little hard, but after a long day walking through Rome we didn't really notice. And if you are a washcloth user in the shower, you'll want to bring your own. Otherwise, our stay...

    Staying in Esquilino

    Neighbourhood Profile
    Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
