So very disappointed that I stayed here. I moved here after being in a beautiful location in Rome called Barberini, but then was shocked by the area and location. It is terrible, a very filthy and unsafe neighbourhood to stay in, it wasn't what I expected, it was a ghetto. The room was uncomfortable because it was too small, especially the... More

Dear Caterina, thanks for your review, sincerely we are sorry to read what you wrote, especially because until you have been our guests you have always answered with a smile, until the day when, before leaving, we asked you how do you spent your holidays at our place .. and you answered "everything was ok" with thumbs up, obviously your... Close to the central station, big room, air conditioned worked well (important during the summer) but wi-fi only worked in the main entrance and in the kitchen. Breakfast was Ok. Nothing special. Price fair. Suggested for who does not intend to spend many time in the room! Important to write in advance your arrival time... they contacted us by Whatsapp!

It is actually a 2-room B&B, inside an older building near Termini. It has a good location which enables you to visit all the historical part of the city by foot. A bit dodgy area at night, but nothing to worry. Very clean, very quiet. Helpful staff. Small bathroom but clean. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room. The... More

This is a budget friendly clean place to stay at the beginning or end of an Italy trip. It is at most a 5 minute walk from the Roma termini train station. We stayed here the last 2 nights of our trip to make it convenient to get to the airport. When you arrive at the address- it is a... More

Dear, First of all thanks for your review, and thanks for your nice words; that's right, we are inside a 19th century building, in an apartment, and the walkaway is the "surprise" to get away the traffic noise of the city. We like when our guest feels like locals, so provide them a real key set could be a good... More

Stayed there for 3 nights. The B&B is located very close to the Termini, just about 5-8 minutes walk. It is at the 1st floor of the residential building and there is no elevator reaching that floor, so we need to carry our luggages through the steps. The host (I think is the daughter?) is very nice and helped us... More

Nice place, it is near by termini station. Rooms are big enough and very clean. Breakfast delivered to room each morning and it is kind of sweet breakfast. I highly recommended this place. Good quality for price.

After booking, the staff send me an email personally to prepare what they could to for me. That was so sweet. - The facility was very clean and nice organized. - The room was large and neat. - location is pretty good close from the Termini station 5 minute walk.

We stayed for just one night as we needed to get to the train station for an early departure the following morning. We were arriving late from an international flight to Rome and made sure to keep in constant contact with the hotel staff prior to arriving. We did not think we would be there too late but wanted to... More

Affordable stay near Termini. The owner is very friendly, rooms have enough space and are equipped with everything one might need. Bathroom is slightly small, but for a few days, one can manage. Breakfast delivered to room each morning, variety of pies/croissants/yoghurt. Highly recommended!

Although I do not particularly like the Roma Termini station area, I wanted to avoid lugging bags around. This hotel was a peaceful sanctuary very near the station and also near metro stations. It is run by a family and everything is spacious, comfy and spotless. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. We had... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
