Another wedding anniversary (so many have passed already!) we decided to spend in Rome. Villa Magnolia Relais was our excellent choice. Like a miracle, but in busy, nervous, crowded city still you can find oasis of peace – like that one: a perfect place to relax and to come back after walking journey through famous places of Rome. For Rafaela,...

4 star hotels on our trip could not even come close to our last three nights in Rome at the Villa Magnolia Relais. Large room, climate control at our finger tips, hospitality from the moment you enter the property until the time the Taxi picked us up at 3:30 am for our return flight back to Ocean Isle NC. Away...

Central location. Walking distance to Vatican close to bus, train, tram. Comfortable. The owner , was very pleasant ,helpful and provided necessary information. When ever you need a coffee / tea during the day time they will make it for you. There was no kettle in the room , but provided a brand new kettle next day when we ask...

This is the second time my family has stayed at Villa Magnolia. We stay at the villa as it provides a quiet, calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of Rome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and access to the garden is a delight. Raffaella could not be a more welcoming and attentive host and Nadia looked after us all...

We enjoyed a peaceful stay at this hidden gem located a short walk from the Vatican and Villa Doria Pamphili Park. Rafaella and Nadia made us feel so very welcome. Cappuccinos greeted us each morning along with some very charming Golden Retrievers. The experience kept us grounded as we headed out on our daily adventures.

The rooms are straight forward and have all you need. WiFi was not working while we were here. This needs to be looked at. But the staff were friendly and helpful, loved our time here. Would love to come back. Beautiful gardens and facilities. Breakfast was great, very homely feel... Nice restaurant down the hill, I San Pietrini - no...

What a wonderful place Villa Magnolia is. It's hidden-away up a hill behind the Vatican, within easy reach of the city, but entirely peaceful. The staff are so helpful, and the owner is a delight. Six of us stayed for two nights on a business trip, but I would definitely return here next time for a holiday to explore Rome...

We loved staying at the Villa Magnolia Relais! There were a number of reasons: 1) The owner/staff are amazing. We were instantly asked if we would like a coffee/drink when we arrived. This wasn't a gimmick - they will really try to help make your stay the best it can be. They also organised taxis for us, and gave us...

A wonderful place where time having no power...Well..You must keep your phone turn off. Raffaela is the most charming Italian meeting in Rome. After you're walking on crowded "PIAZZA" and "VIA" and staying and stare at the buildings and another stones, the return to Magnolia is a blessing. In Rome I recommend the park around castle S.Angelo.When the wind's coming...

We stayed for 6 nights at this place over a month ago. Since we had 3 young kids we booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was a big advantage for us. The location of Villa Magnolia is ideal as it is about 10 mins walk to the Vatican and then on the other side you can walk to Trastevere (20...
