Comfortable bed - Clean room - Close to train station - Cheap price but not really value for money. - Difficult to find as it was in an apartment block and no obvious signage - made us wonder if it was even legit?! - Toilet had a notice to not flush toilet paper down it and to put it in...

I stayed in this guesthouse with my friend for four nights. It's easy to find and close to Termini station - also on walking distance (15 min) from Colosseum. And there's a supermarket closeby. So the location is great. The neighboorhood is okay, but don't walk here outside too long at night as a girl alone. The room got cleaned...

My boyfriend and I booked here for our four night stay in Rome. Upon booking we understood that we wouldn't be walking into a 5star hotel but because we had been travelling before we knew we could deal with basic accommodation. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner- who is lovely and helpful. Our room was basic but nice...

Our toilet didn't work leaving us with no option but to use public facilities. The agency did. It assist on the second day of complaint nor provided any compassion on their final response after two days!!! It was not the accommodation we had booked.

Stayed here for 3 nighst - perfect because it is steps from the station and made travel so much easier. Just a couple minutes away from Termini. The room itself is okey, quite spacious. Neighbourhood however is not ideal for a nice vacation. Extremely loud street, to the point where opening the window is not possible. It was really hot...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
