It is 5 metro stops from Colosseum and Roman Forum and is superbly well connected with Termini Central Station and all Rome touristic attractions. My wife and I flew to Italy and stayed at MY Guest Roma. We could not have stayed at a better place. It was reasonably priced and our host, Stephano, was amazing. He arranged transportation from the airport, met us when we arrived giving us maps and directions to everything we wanted to see, and explained everything we needed to know including where to shop, the best restaurants for dining, the best forms of transportation, and the different coins we needed to use. He became more than just our host. He became our friend. If we visit Rome again, we will definitely stay at "My Guest Roma." I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Rome.

Unbelievable personalized service and care. We cannot thank Stefano enough for his help and all of his time. My aging parents went on their first vacation ever to Europe and it would have been a disaster as my Father's luggage was lost by the airline and my Mom's cell phone (the only one they had with them) was lost in a taxi. Stefano worked tirelessly to contact both airline and cab company even over the weekend until both were recovered just in time for their boarding of their cruise. He kept in contact with us here in Atlanta too. Cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation. My parents were also pleased with the location, the accommodations, and the amazing value. For those planning to see Rome on a budget, there is no better place to stay than My Guest Roma, and a better host than Stefano would be hard to find. I would not exactly call My Guest Roma a bed and breakfast, a hotel or an Airbnb, but it is a kind of combination of all three; a very modest continental breakfast is available. All and all, a very comfortable place to stay. Located in the Bolonga section of Rome in a classic building, it is a two-minute walk to the bus to the main areas of town. The Metro is a ten-minute walk. Many restaurants, cafes and pubs are located on the main street. Just off the main roads are small quiet streets, lined with trees, flowers, and beautiful houses including foreign embassies. The area is great for leisure walks, and far safer than downtown. It was obviously a very elite section of Rome, and remains quite attractive. We found it very easy to get to and from the airport via regular rail, and one stop on the metro. There was no need to take a taxi or more expensive express train then transferring to metro or taxi. For the observant Jewish traveler: Bologa is an area where some Jewish immigrants settled after migrating from the former Italian colony of Libya. Within a quick 12-minute walk, there are synagogues with daily minyanim, a kosher bakery/café and kosher eateries. Chabad is a 7-minute walk from My Guest Roma. For a couple Euro extra, you can daily be served a small continental breakfast of coffee, a small croissant, and some other package sweets. Chalov Yisrael is available at a slight extra charge. You might want to bypass this offer and have breakfast at the kosher bakery. On Shabbat, Stefano sets you up with a special belt for keys, since there is no eruv in Rome. There is also a Shabbos clock in the room, with a plata shabbat and hot water for tea and coffee available. …

My Guest Roma is a very warm and homey place to stay. The rooms are clean and tidy. Its in a great location, right near the public transport, a supermarket, cafes and a 15 min walk from the kosher bakery and stores. Stephano was extremely welcoming and helpful. He showed us some of the best places to visit in Rome helped us plan our itinerary. We would highly recommend a stay at My Guest Roma.

My husband and I spent two weeks at My Guest Roma. It was a wonderful experience on all levels. Stefano was accommodating, exceedingly helpful and gave consistently good advice regarding any questions we posed. The room was large , clean , air conditioned and had an in the wall safe. The absolute best part of each day was the coffee and pastry that arrived each morning on a tray with a gentle knock on the door and a smile . The location in the Piazza Bologna area was just perfect. It’s a vibrant Jewish community with kosher meat restaurants , bakery/ dairy restaurant , gelato shop , kosher store , and three active synagogues. The area is lovely, and quieter than the Jewish ghetto. Cabbing to the city center or Jewish ghetto was easy, though public transportation is also readily available. The people in the neighborhood are lovely , friendly and very proud . We highly recommend My Guest Roma for anyone , but especially for the kosher visitor to Rome. …

We had a great experience at My Guest Roma. Stefano is amazing- he makes himself available for you whenever you need him and he is very attentive to all of your needs. When I wanted to buy a metro ticket Stefano volunteered to accompany me to the tobacco store, and when the store said they were out of tickets he walked with me to another store to make sure I was taken care of. On multiple occasions he sat with me in front of a map and advised us on where to visit and what activities to look for. He even sat with me for a hour answering all my questions about the Roman Jewish community and it’s history. He is a pleasure to deal with and is one of the nicest people you will meet. For that alone I would highly recommend, but the accommodations themselves were also very satisfying. Transportation to and from the main attractions was easy and didn’t take too much time. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of a croissant and a coffee which I found to be satiating. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend! …

My Guest Roma really made us feel like guests at a friend's house. From the pre-arrival contact to make our journey from the airport easy to all the tips and hints Stefano gave us, we had a fantastic time in Rome and that was all down to our choice of accommodation. The family room was great for a family of four - comfy beds, rooms cleaned daily, a TV with Netflix for the kids in the evenings, a decent sized bathroom, a fridge, access to the kitchen and Stefano's mini-library of guidebooks, it had everything we needed and more. Although it's on a large road, the accommodation is at the back and so is really quiet and we all slept really well. The location is great, too. Far enough away from the centre to feel quite relaxed and local, travelling to the main sights was easy once Stefano explained the best ways to get around. For instance, the metro stop is a ten minute walk away and the Collosseum is about seven stops along one metro line. It was easy to get buses as well. The area itself has some great restaurants which Stefano pointed us in the direction of, too. We ate fantastically well at very reasonable prices and soon realised it was because we basically followed Stefano's recommendations. His tip for breakfast turned into our local and we ate very well just across the street, too. Even Stefano's tips of things to do turned out to be awesome. The Basilica around the corner has catacombs that we got a private tour round and was just perfect for the ages of our kids. There is also a 24 hour supermarket across the street so we could stock up on any essentials at any time and keep the kids fuelled with snacks throughout the long days out in the city. Thanks to Stefano's hospitality and advice, we had a fantastic time in Rome at a very reasonable price. The accommodation alone is a bargain but taking all the extra care Stefano takes of his guests into account, My Guest Roma is unbeatable value. We'd recommend it to anyone and will be back the next time we're in Rome.…

Stefano the host & owner is wonderful, caring, very responsive to your needs. Personally cares for each guest & is a wealth of knowledge about Rome & it's environs. Perfect place for the kosher traveler. The well kept B&B is located in the upscale Piazza Bologna neighborhood which is the real heart of the frum Rome Jewish community. There is good public transport minutes from the facility, three synagogues, kollel and several nice and reasonable kosher restaurants. We give Stefano and his place two thumbs up

My Guest Roma is a very affordable, comfortable, kosher friendly B&B with a wonderfully attentive host Stefano who makes sure that you maximize your time and experience in Rome/Italy. B&B/city orientation, map, travel/tour tips are provided upon arrival. In addition, Stefano is always available for questions by WhatsApp. For kosher Sabbath observing travelers, the in-hotel kosher food option for Shabbat was amazingly delicious and well worth it. On Shabbat. we walked to the Beth Shmuel Synagogue which was a vibrant and authentic Sephardi shul ! Getting from the B&B to the high speed trains to other cities (via Roma Termini or Roma Tiburtina) is easy enough.
