Everything you need for a short city break, don't expect pure luxury but do expect clean rooms and helpful, friendly staff. 10 min walk to the Basilica San Pietro and some lovely local restaurants 2 mins walk away. Will stay here again if we return to Rome.

The hotel is next to Termini Station (central point) and it's a part of Hotel California. The room was too small. Very clean except of the wardrobe. Towels were exchanged every day. It also has 24hr reception. Breakfast is not included in price. It offers baggage storage after check out, don't be sure that receptionist will accept that..

I was there in May. Even though the hotel is categorised as a B&B, no breakfast was provided. It was not that hard to find the hotel, provided that you have done your research at home. What I like most about the hotel is how near it is with Termini station. That was its advantage especially I was in Rome... More

Stayed at this hotel 3 nights, the bath had no plug, water preasure was very low, so low that the toilet did'nt flush . Though dreaming roma advertises thenselves as a b/b, the hotel is really a bed stay, and no breakfast. Airconditioner use was 8 Euro extra. Apart from the negative, the hotel was spacious for 4 people. The lift... More

When we arrived at the address for Dreaming Roma, we were taken to one of their appartments which was very near to Termini Station. The location was very convenient and we found it easy to access the city both by foot and by metro. The room itself was pretty basic - we'd booked in for a four-bed room, and it... More

A more appropriate title would be Nightmare Roma B & B. We arrived on a Saturday night at nine pm and were unable to gain entry to the building in which this establisment is based. Only by speaking to the receptionist at the Dolce Vita \B&B on the same floor did we establish the manager was stuck in traffic and... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
